Over the two weeks my family just spent in Coral Bay we had a range of experiences when dining out. The 'Coral King' was the highlight, and became our regular venue for many a night. The atmosphere was always good and the staff (who all seemed to be related) were fantastic, always making you feel welcome, putting some other restaurants on the main strip to shame. It also proved to be a good dining spot as we had a 2 year old with us and the play area was a god send. The menu was good, it could have included more fresh fish dishs, but no one in our party was disappointed with any of their choices. The entertainment was usually a local duo playing traditional music,we enjoyed it but we sadly did not see the Greek dancing that has been mentioned. Well worth a visit.

Had lunch at this restaurant - an extensive menu including English and Cypriot food (for tourists!) and light lunches. The restaurant is easy to find, spacious and clean. The service was excellent and friendly and the prices reasonable. The portion sizes are somewhat larger than we expected and we took our leftovers home in a doggy bag - the Cesar salad lasted two days but was delicious with slices of fried local pitta bread masquerading as croutons - yum! I had mussels in a creamy garlic sauce as a starter - oh I could eat them again right now and the sauce was gorgeous. My main course of king prawns with ouzo and feta cheese was also delish but was accompanied by both rice and chips followed speedily by a dish of veg. Too much for me but if you have a hearty appetite it should be well satisfied at the Coral King.

Have visited Coral King many times over the last 10 years and it continues to be the best restaurant in Coral Bay
This year with new menus and different entertainment it has maintained its high standard but added more choice on different nights
The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service

We had two meals here, there was 8 of us so we thought the size of the place was ideal for us, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the menu was good but the only thing that I thought let the menu down was that all the beef meals were frozen, one of our party went for a beef meal and was not overly excited, not what he thought. The place itself is really nice but what we didn't like was the cats wondering in!!!!! Apart from that the experience of dining there was good, staff were knowledgeable not just of the menu but things to do, and they were great with the kids in our party. Prices weren't bad but would say stay away from the beef unless it doesn't bother you about it being frozen, would go back .

The food we had can only be described as average, very few shrimps in the shrimp salad. What made the experience more enjoyable was the Greek dancing and the two men doing this managed to get a lot of people in the restaurant up and dancing as well. Worth a visit for the Greek evening but don't go for the food as there are better places.
