“Superb value for money”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

Can only echo the other reviewers who have said overlook the negative ones. We were in a one bed s/c apartment for a week and had no complaints at all. For the price we paid it was fantastic. Agree dated but spacious, clean and well maintained. Apartment serviced daily; we had a problem with the fridge and it was replaced within five minutes with a new one! Only negative is that it was quite difficult to find in the dark in our hire car, though it is actually very conveniently located between the new and old towns. Incidentally, a car, whilst not essential, is very useful to get out and about and explore the surrounding area: not only to see the sights but to access the larger supermarkets etc. Like the hotel, Paphos delivered more than we anticipated; the archeological sites are truly stunning and a day trip to Nicosia was well worthwhile. If used to 5 star luxury (and prices), this hotel probably not for you, but we would go back in a heartbeat.

There is a saying don't believe everything you read. I was very apprehensive to stay in this hotel after reading the reviews, however I ignored the bad reviews and choose to listen to the good ones and I must say I was very happy I did as I really enjoyed my first visit to Cyprus and would stay in this hotel again. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it is homely and cosy which is what my husband and I was looking, so if you are looking for somewhere to sleep and spend the rest of your day site seeing then I would recommend staying in this hotel.

I stayed here in January 2013 only a weeks break a group of us went from ages 1 to 5. Very friendly staff out room was ground floor apartment near the pool first impressions were ok had everything we needed apart from a kettle but I knew this before I left so I bought one with me as I needed one for my baby's milk. Had a view of the road and had about 5 cats visiting me which wasn't a problem as I am a huge cat lover but my 3 yr old son caught ring worm off them didn't notice until we got home. We had no bed for my 3 year old so he slept in a single bed with me. First night in the bed it felt damp or just very cold couldn't stop shivering I ended up sleeping in my coat every night the heaters in the room worked but we was on a budget and they charge 7 euros a day per unit. My baby developed a nasty cough around day 3 took her to local chemist as she wasn't ill with it they out it down to the damp in the room causing it so I made her sleep with me at night to keep her warm so that was fun and games. The location was ok not ideal for less mobile it was quite hilly with broken paths or no paths at all no beaches around nearest was coral bay which was a bus ride away. I would stay here again but probably in summer months the staff were fantastic and the best I have ever had.

I was a bit apprehensive when we read the reviews on this hotel, but it is what it says on the tin, a budget hotel. On the positive side, towels and bedding were changed regularly, the lifts worked, when a request was made for anything (extra pillows, replacement light bulbs, even loo paper), this was dealt with efficiently. Although the meals are not gourmet delights, no-one would starve here. The staff work extremely hard. The hotel is looking a bit tired now, but efforts are being made to decorate rooms gradually.
The big disappointment was the indoor heated pool; this was the main reason that we chose this hotel, as my husband has a leg disability and he was looking forward to a daily swim. It was housed down a fairly steep flight of steps, in a cold room, and the water was too cold to swim in! The room was rather uninviting. It was a good sized pool, but very cold.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool facing room. A room above reception will give a weak wi-fi connection.

Without doubt this was the cheapest accommodation ever....less than £10.00 per night.
Clean rooms, bit cramped, with all the furniture and tables and a spare bed in...
Staff not very friendly, felt like we were the Unwanted few, in the separate block with bad lights and lack of security door to the accommodation and room area..
Ideal for over 65+...most of them are there for 6 weeks at a time.....
Maid in every day, cleaning round.
Basic room, clean tidy. Did not have any food there.
Worst Thing.....EVER....
SMOKING IN THE BAR ROOM....
HORRID, SMELLY AND NOT GOOD FOR OTHER PEOPLES HEALTH...
i did tell the management, his comment was if its not carpeted, then its ok to smoke in there......
The location, GOOD AND ONLY 3 EURO FOR DAY BUS PASS...used them 6 times in one day....
I would love to know what is the Cyprus governments view on smoking.

Room Tip: Any room with a locking door is good.......
