“"really good"”

Visited DAMON 1st may for a special holiday for my wifes 50th birthday. from the first day to the last we had an excellent 2 weeks stay. first of all check in was very efficient, then we had a young man show us to our room and he also carried some of our luggage, which was good as we were on the 3rd floor block E room 527, although this overlooked the tombs of the kings road it was not overly noisy, the apartment was excellent with every thing you could want. the rooms were kept clean and tidy by the cleaners who were in most days. The location of the DAMON is good also, being within easy walking distance of bars and good places to eat. (only 25mins to harbour and shops) the staff at the DAMON were all very pleasant and very friendly, overall an excellent 2 weeks holiday. would definitely go back and would certainly recommend the DAMON to anyone.

the damon was really clean, apartments great, no fault except the hairdryer is wired into the wall and doesn't quite reach the mirror, the pool is quite small and beds close together so we went to the sister hotel a few minutes walk away on the seafront, this was really nice and spacious, beds were around the pool, on the grass or on the beach, tho it is a bt rocky into the sea. also with it being hot, around the pool there is hardly any breeze but at the beach you get a nice sea breeze. all the staff were friendly, snack bar was good and pool bar nice in both places. didn't really like the tomb of the kings road, as it seemed quite empty and the road is very busy into paphos, for half the week we got the bus into the harbour, where there was a bit of life. we had room 327 in block c which over looked the pool but some of the blocks face the road and would be very noisey. very good value for money but the location not so good. on our last day we had a late flight and couldn't keep the room on, only 4 euros per hour so we used the shower room near the gym but there is no hairdryer in it so they found one for us to use, which was very nice of them.

Room Tip: stay away from the road, aircon free and very good

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 10 night holiday to Paphos, staying at the Damon Hotel Apartments and we both had a Fantastic time. When we arrived which was quite late into the night we were greeted with a smile by the receptionist and were shown to our room, we had requested one over looking the small pool as it's quieter. And I must say the room was perfect: one bedroom aprt with cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle enough crockery and cutlery, air con in the living room and bedroom and the bedroom was nice and spacious enough wardrobe space dressing table and chair. Our room was very modern having just been re-furbished. The pool area was great with enough sun loungers and parasols and the bar was good for drinks and snacks bar staff were great always there working hard and the two waiters Akkis and Alin were fantastic serving you your drinks and clearing the tables straight away. There is some entertainment during the day round the pool but we were out doing other things so didn't always get involved with this. There are lots of great places to eat near the hotel we tried Coco's on the main road they serve Chinese, Japenese, Thai, Indian, Mexican and English food we had the Chinese and it was amazing the staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you, you can also see your food being cooked so you always know everything is fresh and it is immaculate inside and out and very well priced try it and see. We also had drinks at Alfie T's which is near Coco's and they do great cocktails for 2 euros before 9.00pm and if you fancy a sing song they have karaoke on till very late, the owners Joe and Kaz are lovely people and we have come away having made two good friends, Tracey and John who make the cocktails and serve them to you are a great couple always smiling and up for a laugh. There is also a fish and chip shop just round the corner from the hotel called Moulia which serve great food we walked down to the harbour regularly which is lovely but you can get the bus from near the hotel which is a euro each way or you can purchase a day ticket which is 3 euro from the driver and get on the bus as many times as you like throughout the day which is worth it. We hired a car for 4 days which was good as we were able to go that bit further to see more of Cyprus we drove to Limassol, up to the Troodos mountains, Ayia Napa and various other places. Had a FANTASTIC time and we will be visiting again and staying at the Damon Hotel Apartments :).

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the small pool are quieter we stayed in block D room 422.

Even better second time around! We've just returned from a weeks stay in the Damon(19th May) and had a lovely relaxing stay. We had third floor apt overlooking the pool (newly refurbished) and even a complimentary bottle of wine and a note from management wishing us a pleasant stay. The location is great and the staff very pleasant ,friendly and helpful. The area is good ...very central with restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed bed and breakfast and can't fault
the wide range of food on offer. We will definitely reccommend and return again.

Stayed at the Damon for one week as attending a wedding in Paphos and did plenty of research to find a nice hotel which was value for money. The staff on reception were always very helpful and friendly whenever we called upon them for assistance. Unfortunately we landed a ground floor room in Block C. The tiny balcony to this room looked out at 3 very large water storage tanks and metal gates. Not ideal. We didn't really give the hotel the chance to rectify this as we didn't complain about it but the hotel was not busy so why house guests in rubbish rooms when better are available?
The breakfast was pretty good, much better than we have previously had in similar hotels.
Our only other bug bear was being forced out of our hotel room by the maid from 10:45 on our day of check out. We had the room until 12:00 but from 10:45 she repeatedly let herself in every 15 minutes until we shifted. She even came to peer in through the window on the side of the room! It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the fact she only cleaned the room twice throughout the rest of the week!
If we had landed a better room and not had to endure 'maid-gate' on the last day, the review would be considerably better but, unfortunately our stay wasn't the best at the Damon.

Room Tip: make sure you're not in Room 308 Block C!

We found the damon hotel to be extremely good value. It was very clean the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help you.We had a studio apartment which was exceptionally big with all the facilities you would expect(including air con) as well as a bath and shower. The rooms were cleaned nearly every day with a change of towels and the beds were changed twice during our 1 weeks stay. There are a varity of bars and restaurents along the tombs of kings road ( fat mamma,s is worth a visit but you need to be really hungary as the portions are enormous!!!!)The harbour is about a 20-25 min walk away or you can catch the local bus which runs about every 10 mins and costs 1 euro. All in all a good hotel that we would definately use again.
