Another spacious archeological area. Great place for walk even with small children not really interested in history. Good variety of tombs (from different periods). Great views on sea and Paphos

A huge rustic park of ancient excavated tombs. If you like history you'll love this place. Plenty to see and wonder about how they were made and then rediscovered. There are rafts of wild flowers across the park cyclamen, anemones and orchids to mention only a few.

We were lucky to visit this in January when it was very quiet so we pretty much had the tombs to ourselves. We could easily have spent hours on the site but chose instead to do a whistle stop tour of the various tombs. Its great fun exploring the 7 tombs which are all unique in style, access and degree of completeness. Its incredible to think how old they are but are still available to us to walk around. The setting is also lovely right next to the see. Its also a nice walk to the tombs along the pedestrian pathway which starts at Paphos harbour.

This was next to my hotel so I took a look for the 2.50 euro entrance and was fascinated how the ancient BC tombs in rock had survived .
Beautifully maintained by the Cypriots and spotless
Worth a visit as also in extensive grounds which I found relaxing
