Cheap to get in at 1.70 Euro. We did it without a guide book and had fun working out how they had been constructed. I couldn't help feeling that if this had been in Britain, there would have been a visitor centre and lots of interpretation. However we all liked it just as it was.

When I walked into the first tomb I was fascinated by the size and was in awe as to how the ancients created this with basic tools. The site paths are set out so that you can see each tomb. Reading material that you get at the ticket office is very informative and seems to be researched very well. Well worth the visit and be prepared to spend at least 3-4 hours at this extensive site. Make sure you take plenty of water in the warmer months. Truly amazing.

Not for anyone with mobility problems, having said that it is a fascinating place. Only one tomb that is complete, but lots where you can see how that must have been. Steep steps to others that were daunting. large area to walk around with great sea views.

these tombs were much more substantial than I expected and you can get around and really explore - and the setting is great too
