Good value, about a 10-15 minute walk to the main harbor. There are still a few bars and restaurants in the area. Wifi is not free. Did not have breakfast. Front desk was accomodating and had a cheap recommendation for tours which were perfect for Troodos.

Dear NSJ82,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our Anemi Hotel.
We are very pleased you had a good stay with us and that you found our staff very helpful. We are very lucky to be in the heart of the resort centre of Kato Paphos, very close to historic sites, shops, restaurants, just 300 meters from a Blue Flag awarded sandy beach and 600 meters from the medieval Castle!
We also thank you for the comment in regards to the WiFi. Kindly note that is free in all public areas (reception / lobby, restaurant / bar and pool area) and with an additional charge in the rooms.
It will be a great pleasure to see you back to our Anemi Hotel in the near future.
With my warmest regards,

The hotel was clean and our apartment large. The hotel seemed about half full and had a small conference during 3 days of our 9 day stay.
We had a problem with the noise of the bathroom fan; this was fixed within an hour of reporting. The rooms were cleaned most days, on one day the cleaner forgot to leave a tea towel or take away the rubbish. The room was usually quite at night apart for two nights when someone in a room near bye seemed to spend around an hour about 2 in the morning moving furniture around. Don't think a fault of the Hotel and you are likely to get much worst noise in the summer.
We ate out and didn't use the Hotel restaurant; the menu looked OK and some people were using it.
The faculty were OK; we used the Gym each morning; the pool was too cold to swim. The only think we would have liked would have been some form of evening entertainment apart from watching sport on the TV; which is only what was available. Putting on a film or having TV's in the room which showed films would have been OK. The only channels on the room TV were news channels and ITV+1 which only showed soaps and football when we had it on.
In March its dark about 6 and no local music or entertainment in the bars apart from watching sport; few clubs were open but at our age it was not really for us. After eating at the restaurants; it made a bit of a long evening.
The location is great for the shops bars restaurants and the sea. With its location in the club area; next to a lap dancing club (which was closed this time of year); its not a place we would use in high season. We would return in the low season; maybe not for the 9 days we stayed this time.

We found the Anemi Aparthotel having stayed in a really tacky and smelly (stale smoke) place nearby.
We were on holiday for a month in Jan/Feb, so having somewhere comfortable and clean was really important. We had to wait a day for a room to become vacant and had a standard room.(213) Our apartment was spacious and very clean and comfortable.
On our arrival we had a bowl of fruit on the table and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. Our deal included breakfast, which was cooked to order. They went out of their way to give us mushrooms, cooked to perfection, as we are vegetarian. The cold buffet was good with yoghurt, dried fruits, cheeses, meats etc and a lovely choice of breads for toasting.

The staff were all fantastic, really friendly and helpful. Small problems in the room were fixed really quickly, and we evidenced the hard working maintainance team fixing the swimmingpool after earth tremors.
We had a fantastic holiday and would definately go back here again. Loved Paphos out of season.
Thank you all.

We stayed at Anemi during the green Monday break in a superior apt (they have been renovated 2 years ago).
Great value at 58 euros with breakfast, great location -10 min walk to the harbor and cafes and restaurants- and very polite helpful staff! The room was very clean, and the breakfast was decent with a choice of hot and cold.
It's a hotel that provides the basic, it's clean with a good location! Don't expect to find a boutique luxury hotel but it will satisfy everyone with a low budget who doesn't want to spend a fortune on a hotel and spends most of their holiday time sightseeing or at the beach.
I didn't like the surrounding run down area and shabby buildings. It's safe but you get the feeling that it's a deserted area!

Room Tip: Book a superior apt the standard rooms haven't been renovated

The hotel was very nice, and it is perfect if you are looking for a good value hotel. It is very clean, and modern, I think it must have undergone some renovation recently. The reception is very helpful, breakfast and the bartenders are super. Only thing was maybe that the hotel was a little crowded and the swimming pool area was full all the time. Of course we were there in full season, so this was normal. It is about 15 minutes walk form the city center where you can find all kinds of bars and restaurants. The beach is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, but it is not ideal for swimming. If you want to swim in the sea, you have to take a bus from the city center and travel about 30 minutes to a nice beach, which is also quite crowded, otherwise the best option is to stay in the hotel swimmimng pool.

Can not fault this hotel we have recently returned from an 'out of season' break to paphos and the Anemi is a fantastic choice of hotel, the room (306) was excellent, the staff and manageress could not have been more helpful and friendly (thank you) the reception and pool areas are excellent and although we never dined at the hotel other guests did and the food looked lovely
It has been mentioned that the hotel is close to the 'strip' but I wouldn't let that put you off at all as the 'strip' even in high season is not anywhere near as busy/noisy as it once was the owner of 'Aces' bar informed us that last summer only 6 bars and 2 clubs opened compared to 45 bars and 6 clubs 6 years ago, the reason he gave was the economic climate and the popularity of 'all inclusive' hotels which in my humble opinion is killing resorts in many countries!
The 'apartment' had everything you could wish for, a lounge/kitchen area, double bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower over the room was made up 5 out of the 7 days
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, many thanks to all at the Anemi, we will return one day

The Anemi Hotel is in an excellent location in Kato Paphos, very close to the beachfront and a pleasant stroll to the harbour and attractions. Its also close to the pedestrianised street with lots of clubs and bars on it, most are closed out of season so was not relevant to me. I had a 2 bed apartment which was spacious modern and clean. Cooking equipment was spotless, almost afraid to use it. Apartment serviced every day, with air con throughout (not really needed in January!). Public areas were of a very high standard. The bar providing a reasonable menu for meals . WiFi is free in public area but very expensive if you want acess in you room. The thing that makes the Anemi stand out is the staff , they are very friendly and are determined to help you get the most out of your stay. They seem disappointed when you don't require any help or advice. Thank you for a lovely stay, I would stay here again.
