“Brilliant November Holiday”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

We stayed in Double Bedroom Apartment, with balcony that opened onto the beach. It was a fantastic view and lovely accommodation. We had half board which was excellent. Good menus and everything very clean. We enjoyed the beach road walk to the harbour and in the other direction Pathos town. We especially enjoyed the archaeological site accessed from the harbour area and in the other direction the Tombs of the Kings. Took a day trip to the North (Turkish part of Cyprus) which was really interesting and enjoyable.
Really enjoyed Cyprus in November, we had excellent hot weather and not too many tourists.

Wow! Just got back from spending a week as this resort, and have to say how impressed we were with this Hotel. Views were amazing. Staff were so helpful. Really wanted you to have the best experience ever.Food was great, and presented so well. Pure white napkins etc.,Used the indoor pool everyday. The young lady on reception was incredibly helpful. Couldn't get over her willingness to give help and advice. Can't remember here name, getting old i'm afraid. She said she came from Leeds, that I do remember. Manager invited us for cocktails on the first Frtiday we were there.Have to mention the entertainment too. The fire show was excelent. Could go on and on....

Room Tip: Room overlooking the pool was worth requesting.

From the very beginning we had a great experience at this hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly and very efficient. Our room was newly decorated and very well-equipped. It was more spacious than we had expected, clean and fully functional. we had a sea view and pool view. The pool was a bit cool for many people but my wife and I thought it one of the best kept pools we have ever used, the water was crystal clear and silky soft on the skin, fabulous. The TVs in the room did not have good reception, we only wanted a quick update on the news and weather so that was no problem. Foolishly I did choose to watch the England Germany friendly soccer in the main bar. The picture there was not HD but good enough. Pity about the result. The local beer was like gnats' but the service was friendly and very efficient.
Evening entertainment was not a highlight, varied; fakir, dancing, greek folk, bingo etcThere was a reasonable turnout each night but it was not our cup of tea. That didn't bother us at all.
We had HB, every breakfast and evening meal we had a warm friendly welcome as we were shown to our table. The food was absolutely delicious, a good selection, good quality, varied, lots of it, the service by the staff was great - attentive without being over the top.
The location is good; it is an easy walk to the local shops, ( a bit of a hike to Lidls if you wanted a supermarket), bars, close to the port and the Pafos mosaics. Bike hire was a bit expensive £9 a day but bikes were perfectly serviceable. The beach is OK for families or adults, some sand some pebbles. Easy access to the water and a reef that goes on for ever with plenty to see. A bit of a current somedays so you had to be sensible. Plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas. We were there in the low season so can't speak for what it is like in the high season.
Loved this hotel. Would definitely go again.

Room Tip: We had a spacious corner room and paid the extra for a the seaview and were not disappointed. We als...

We arrived the last week in September 2013 and right from the start we received a warm and friendly reception from the staff at the main desk. We were then showed to our room which was very nice, with a sea view. The gardens were set out lovely and were well looked after. We even made a little friend who was a white friendly cat. We has a wonderful two weeks at this hotel, the food was excellent, the staff were always helpful and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and certainly go back there again and again.
To Elaina and all the staff thank you.
Regards Tom & Suzanne Stanier

We have just returned from a week at the Kefalos beach village hotel and had a wonderful time. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely receptionist and then shown to our room which was so nice, spacious and very clean with an amazing view. The hotel has been set out just like a little village with well looked after gardens. Everywhere was spotless. We went half board and the food and service was first class,There was a theme night each evening providing plenty of choice to meet all requirements, and at breakfast there was a great choice, you really could not of asked for more.
We have been to Cyprus on many occasions but feel this is the best place we have stayed at and will be returning in April and look forward to our next stay at this lovely hotel.

We went in October half term this year, 2013, after spotting this accommodation last year when in Paphos. Staff on arrival lovely, accommodation just right, nice and clean. Lovely set up, like a little village, with well tended gardens. Pool area spotless, and straight out onto the beach. Food good with lots of choice, and thankfully no chips in sight at evening meal time!! Lovely location, with a lovely walk down to the harbour along the coastal footpath. Would definitely recommend this accommodation, and will visit again.

We have just returned from a week in the Kefalos Beach Village. What a great hotel!

The majority of the rooms are set around the main hotel in blocks of 4 -6. Our room was very spacious and included a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave and small cooker.

We were HB and the food was excellent. The breakfast menu was basically the same everyday, fresh and dried fruit, yogurt, cereal, fried and scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, sausages, pancakes, cake, local bread and rolls, sliced bread for toasting, cheeses, cold meats, olives etc. There was such a variety that you didn't have to eat the same thing everyday unless you wanted to!

The evening menu was equally as extensive and was themed each night e.g. Greek, Italian, barbeque etc.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Any request was met with a smile and prompt action. They were even ok when I accidently set the fire alarm off :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the sea
