Just returned from this hotel with our children aged 8 and 2. Overall we had a good holiday. The apartment was basic but well equipped and very clean. Beds made and towels changed 6 out of 7 days. Our view was looking at a car port, we had a partial sea view and it was more private than some when you wanted to sit out so we were happy with it. We stayed bed and breakfast and it was okay. However the pool bar lunches are good with a lovely sea view to go along. The pool is great for swimmers but there is no real shallow end so our 8 year old couldn't put his feet down, hence his swimming has improved! But it is lovely and clean and not too busy. There are also pool towels each day if you want to use them, we did. Pool games and entertainment most days if you want to join in however they are not pushy. There are quieter areas on the beach front and grassed areas which look great if you want to sunbathe and relax, mostly adults with no kids, again lovely views. The beach itself is not so good for children building sandcastles etc.. It's shingle and seaweed. We did paddle with beach shoes and my son went in but its not as pleasant as Coral Bay Beach. We had a hire car and I think, for the beach alone, it was worth it. Our children enjoyed the mini disco and entertainment on the evening however we did go out up to the kings road and into Coral Bay. Poppadoms tandoori and Martelli for pizzas, are fab, thin as you like homemade pizzas, the kids loved watching the chef throwing the dough around in the air. The harbour is a nice area however it was so hot to walk around we had to go early morning. The hotel staff are mostly nice, a good kids club with parent and toddler sessions. All in all a good family holiday and good hotel. We would return.

we booked this hotel last minute and wasn't really expecting much as the deal we got was very cheap. however, when we got there we were pleasantly surprised!

the hotel staff were polite when needed, and the rooms were cleaned daily by the maid with new towels provided. we had an apartment room with a separate kitchen and living area to the bedroom and the kitchen facilities were more than enough for a self catering stay. there were lots of supermarkets nearby where food could be purchased easily. as well as this, there was plenty of restaurants to try out. recommendations are zorbas and zeus!

the hotel pool was very clean with a range of activities put on throughout the day by the staff. clean towels are available for use so no need to bring beach towels with you. the beach itself wasn't the best, but there are a range of other beaches nearby that were much nicer. sticking to the pool wasn't a problem though.

overall, would recommend this hotel to anyone. mainly family orientated but lots of couples and older people there too, so this hotel is suitable for anyone.

Room Tip: sea front rooms did look nice, so try to book one of those if possible. if not, all the rooms seemed...

I really don't no where to start , we got married here at the Kefalos on the 11th July 2013 it was perfect in every way we couldn't have wished for a better day!
Elena the wedding planner is brilliant nothing is too much trouble she's there every step of the way even before you get to cyprus . We can't thank her enough !
We held our ceremony at one of the gazebo's opposite the sea it was a perfect setting , it was so private we loved it . My husband & our guests were blown away when they seen where I'd picked to get married & hold our wedding reception, they thought it was perfect.
We didn't have to move to have our sunset pictures as the Kefalos has a perfect sunset too :-) amazing !!!
Onto the food again amazing , we had a Cypriot Meze , guests loved it , just perfect .
I'm so glad I picked to get married at the Kefalos I wish I could do it all again. Best day of our lives.
The Staff / management just so welcoming & just cannot do enough for you .
You will not be disappointed . Thank you again elena your one amazing lady :-)

I got married here. It was the best day of my life. Elena made everything perfect for us and our family. The rooms were clean. The food was lovely and the entertainment and the team were brilliant. Our kids were never bored. Ricco, bobby, crystal and the rest of the girls were brill!! I think they got sick of me hogging the dance floor and the karaoke. And the rest of the staff at the Kefalos couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend the Kefalos for a fantastic wedding or holiday. I'm looking forward to going back next year :)

Stayed at the Kefalos Beach on many occasions now and have never been disappointed. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and are always happy to help. The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are made and new linen every day as well as the bins emptied each day. Very close to all amenities. Great pool's and a beach on the doorstep.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!!!

We have recently returned from another fantastic stay at the Kefalos Beach. After our first stay 2 years ago we decided that it was the perfect place to tie the knot and we weren't disappointed!
The location is amazing, with fabulous views over the med and beautiful gardens to enjoy.
The food is absoutly delicious, for the wedding we had the BBQ buffet which our guests absolutly loved and are still raving about! Nothing was too much trouble for the hotels staff, I can't praise them enough!

The rest of our holiday was fabulous as well. The hotel is walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars, and there is a coastal path that takes you straight to Paphos harbour and the castle. It is also just meters away from the beach and the lovely warm waters of the med!

The rooms at the hotel are a good size and well maintained and kept very clean. The sea view rooms are particularly nice but some of our guests had a standard room which was still the same good standard.

The food in the buffet restaurant is excellent. Although we were on B&B there is the option to pay to eat in there in the evening which is well worth it. There is also the pool bar which offers snacks and drinks which is, again, delicious.

The staff are friendly, helpful and hardworking. The entertainment staff are especially hard working. There is always something going on be it games in the pool, archery or professional shows in the evening. Everyday there is a disco for children which proved to be a hit.

The Kefalos is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we plan to return in the future. Our wedding day was perfect and I can't thank Elena and all the staff at the Kefalos enough for making our day so special.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms are amazing and worth the extra cost.
