Great location and comfortable apartments. Superb view over the sea. Our sixth visit and looking forward to our next. Stayed bed and breakfast. Took evening buffet meal most nights where there was a wide choice with different menu every night. Food was first class. We always make time for a visit to Fat Mama's where the food is good and there is a terrific atmosphere. Always a warm welcome at the Kefalos Beach with staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble!

Excellent choice of an appartment with sea view, couldn't be better. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast choices were very good, yummy Greek yogurt and a great choice of hot food, not sure about cauliflower though - but all very tasty and well presented. The evening meals offered good choices. The pool area was gorgeous. Free Wifi in the comfortable lounge area. The hotel arranged our taxi pick up for us. Also advised us about the bus service - 1 Euro per trip or an all day ticket for 3 Euros, great value. There is a path by the sea that takes you directly into the Harbour area.
Will go back to Kefalos Beach Tourist Village, probably best to go early season or Sept onwards.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms well worth the extra, the pool view rooms would be a bit noisy.

We booked the Kefalos on the strength of the previews reviews and continued to have a look at reviews before we went and I have say I was amazed! There was not a single bad word to be said about this hotel, so I'm thinking were's the catch do they make everyone write them in front of a large security guard before they check-out! The great news is this is not the case the Kefalos Beach is the most friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrive and lovely Sophie checked us in and told us about the hotel and rooms etc. Then Geoff (fantastic Geoff) came along took our cases put them on a buggy and said "right girls if you want anything heavy from shop get it now so you don't have to carry it" so he waits we shop. Then we "whizz" off to our rooms but not before Geoff has shown us where the pool and bar are. We had all booked sea view rooms and what a fantastic view front row looking out to sea and waving at the joggers of a morning! Food was great, we went HB and there was always plenty of choice and all the staff in the restaurant were really friendly and courteous. The pool bar/taverna does the most wonderful food as well lovely seafood salads and Calamaris as well as the usual burgers and chips. On one of our days we arrived back in our room to find an invitation from the management team asking us to join them in a cocktail round the pool the following morning at 11am so not one to pass a free drink we pitch up in the sun and sure enough they set up tables with not just cocktails but bread, cheese olives and local wine - we thought this was a lovely touch. We were not over impressed with the Tomb of the Kings Road it was very run down and as it was quiet in April it didn't feel like somewhere you wanted to be late at night. It is probably completely different in high season. The harbour area was lovely we visited this on the bus a few times. We also took the bus to Limassol one day from the City Central bus station in the old town for 5 euro this is worth a trip it's just about an hour on a nice coach and has some great shops to mooch around. To sum up I would defiantly book the Kefalos again I might take the kids next year, as we were on a girly break, the kids entertainment looked good and all the entertainment team tried really hard. Thanks Kefalos hope to see you next year.

We have stayed at Kefalos a number of times with our children when they were younger and now on our own, usually during the Easter holiday, and every visit has been perfect (and I'm quite picky!). The hotel and grounds are very well maintained and immaculate, and staff are friendly and helpful. The welcome, preparation of rooms and service throughout the stay makes you feel quite pampered - there's no stress and you can relax and make the most of your holiday.
The location is perfect if you don't want to be in the thick of the tourist area. It's close enough to get to places easily but far enough away that it isn't noisy in the evening. It is a short walk to the Tombs of the Kings in one direction, and along the seafront path to the Mosaic Houses and Harbour in the other. Just a couple of minutes' walk inland is Tombs of the Kings Road, where there are bars, restaurants, clubs, etc.
We will definitely return - we were planning our next visit whilst waiting for pick up for our flight home!

Room Tip: We always go for a first floor sea view. The sunsets are stunning, and there is nothing as peaceful...

Myself and my daughter have just returned from a short break at the Kefalos Beach, i must say that i have been to cyprus 4 times now and retuning in sept, i wouldnt stay any were else, other either the Kefalos beach or the Damon, wow what can I say.... This hotel is huge staff are soooo friendly will do anything to help. I have stayed at the sister hotel Damon and that is perfect, and the Kefalos is on a bigger scale, but just as lovely we had a one bed apart brilliant. We went there because my daughter Victoria is getting married next year and we will be having the wedding at this hotel, so she wanted to check it out the hotel and the area, and she loved it :) we would both like to give a big thank you to Elanor who has made our stay very welcoming, she is also

organising the wedding, she showed us every thing that Vicky would need to no and spared her time to show us the newly revamped Damon. So thank you everyone at the Kefalos for a lovely time. This was a mother and daughter trip and it was fantastic, just not long enough so roll on sept

Room Tip: Erm all the rooms are in good positions, good locations we stay in room 543, and we were a two min w...

Had a great week during Easter holidays at this hotel. We have stayed at many hotels around the Mediterranean and this has to be one of the best. The whole complex is very clean and generally well maintained. The hotel is right next to the beach and if you walk inland you can get to a few bars in 10 minutes selling pints for 1.50 euro. If you are prepared to walk for 30 minutes you can be at the main promenade strip of Paphos.
The food is exceptional with many themed nights which I think were BBQ, Mediterranean, Chefs special, Oriental, Italian, Greek and Carvery. I would say it's the best food we have had apart from a top all inclusive in Antigua.
There are 2 bars which have happy hours when pints are 2.50 instead of 3.50 euro and cocktails are 3.50 instead of 5.50. The entertainment is standard fare for a Spanish/Greek hotel with several dancing type shows, fire eating and bingo etc. We didn't stay at the hotel during the day as we had a car for the week, but there was a decent amount of activities if you felt like taking part.
The hotel pool was one of cleanest I have seen, there is also an indoor pool but we didn't go in it, however it looked ok. There is a decent gym if you like a bit of exercise while you're away.
Overall this hotel offers great value half board accommodation in an excellent location and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We were due to be at another Hotel for our Easter Break, however due to a last minute refurb we were offered by our travel company the Kefalos Beach on the day before we were due to depart.
We were delighted with the change and will most definitely be returning.
Our children 10 and 12 were extremely happy with the facilities, the sports and kids clubs, therefore Mum and Dad already relaxing.
Staff and entertainment crew Bobbie and Crystal were exemplary, and as for the "Village" effect of the Apartments, it was very pleasing on the eye and a credit to the architect who designed the place.
A "Jewel" in the accommodation on offer in Phaphos.
Just be sure you avoid Ryanair flights, who find every way possible to ruin your experience of travelling from Cyprus.

Room Tip: all apartments seem very nice, we can only praise the place on our findings
