Firstly, if you are due to stay in this hotel please ensure that you have a 'sea view' room booked - we stayed in a 'mountain view' room (although it would be better described as 'car park view') in these rooms you don't get sun on your balcony at all, so drying towels & swimwear is difficult/impossible.
OK, so, good points.....
The reception staff are great
The concierge is lovely
Pools are clean and spacious
Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, iron, hair dryer, fridge, TV (although if you don't care for Sport or News this will be of no interest to you!), generally quite nice but not 4*.
Nearby restraunts are great (especially The Oleastro - amazing steaks) - but expensive.
Bad points are....
The staff (other than reception & concierge) are AWFUL, miserable, rude, ignorant (i kept thinking i was in Spain!)
Everything is too expensive in this hotel, drinks, food, minimarket, etc.
The balcony wasn't swept once & cups & glasses weren't changed for the whole two weeks.
UHT milk (replaced daily) was bad twice.
General cleanliness wasn't great.
In general i found Cyprus WAY too expensive - Overall prices i would say are similar to England (City Centres), but when you consider the difference in the cost of living you begin to realise that you are seriously having your [--] spanked!More
