Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel

This is our last day at the asimina suites and what can I say, it is an absolutely lovely resort which I would highly recommend. From the moment we arrived we were taken away by the service. A receptionist greeted us at our car and escorted us into the lobby where we were served champagne and told about the many amenities at the resort. This hotel is stunning and the room are to a very high standard and although we stayed on the ground floor with an inland facing suite we were not too bothered as the room itself was lovely. On to the things that I feel would be useful to know the beach is not amazing and I was prepared for this by the pictures however it seems that there is some building work going on a couple of doors down and hence you could see a crane depending on where you sat around the pool. My only negative surrounding the service would be that they would benefit from having more staff situated around the pool during the day as it was a while before you could get a drink. The hotel itself is around 10minute bus trip to pahos and buses run regularly up till one in the morning with bus fare being around €1.50 each way. In terms of excursions, the hotel recommended a couple of bus tours and so we booked a trip to Limassol I would not recommend this. As part of the trip they advertise wine tasting which is really stopping of at an industrial estate to drink the wine that the factory produces, it was shocking! I would highly recommend walking to the harbour and booking a jeep safari specifically one which takes you to the blue lagoon which is stunning. One other thing to note if you like a hotel with an atmosphere during the day and evening this is not the hotel for you it is by far the quietest hotel I have been too where people do not even really say hello to each other, the average clientele is from 35-40 upwards. If this doesn't bother you then you will not be disappointed by the beautiful asimina suites :-) enjoy!!!

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel (1st - 15th June 2013). We had a fantastic welcome in the VIP lounge, with a champagne drink and canapes to get our holiday off to a great start!!

Our room was wonderful (room 328) with a pool and sea view. The toiletries in the bathroom are lovely - try the body lotion - sheer bliss! Lovely bathroom with two sinks and rainwater shower - what heaven. Suite rooms so plenty of room for a couple and the beds are very comfortable.

The staff are amazing. Natalia who showed us to our table in the mornings for breakfast, especially the table by the pool - trust me, you will not want to leave! The waiting staff are really friendly and will engage in conversation with you, whilst at the same time getting on with the jobs they have to do.

Breakfasts are really good with plenty of variety with fruit, cereals, breads, cheeses, anything you want, they even had porridge whilst we were there which was lovely, and of course the egg station where you can have omelettes, scrambled, poached eggs, or anything you want. We ate in the hotel some evenings, and again the lovely Natalia was there and showed us to our table. Food is very good, with plenty of variety and well cooked.

The pool is lovely and all one depth all the way, so even non swimmers should be fine. Yes, the towel game is played at the Asimina, but I think it was more a case of getting the sun lounger in the area you wanted rather than there being not enough, as there seemed to be plenty to be had. Many thanks to the lads to helped put down our towels and put umbrellas up for us, and also the lovely girls who brought us our drinks by the pool when needed. The fruit slices and cold towels by the pool is a really nice touch when the weather is hot.

In the evenings your room is refreshed with bed turned down and towels changed again and also a bottle of water left by the bedside which is a great touch to the end of the day. All staff gave 100+% and nothing is too much trouble.

All in all a very well run hotel and we certainly will be returning in the not too distant future.

Our thanks to all the staff at the Asimina Suites hotel. You are amazing.

xxxx

Room Tip: Choose a room on a high floor, we had room 328 which was quiet and it has a sunny balcony in the eve...

This Holiday was the first for my wife and I in 6 years.I did not think that the level of care and service provided by the Staff of this hotel was available any more. The Restaurants reminded me of the Ritz. Having used Constantinou hotels before we knew about the high levels of accommodation but our expectations were exceeded on this occasion.
Thank you for giving me and my Family a wonderful experience, we are working on becoming Gold standard customers.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. From the very minute that we arrived to the moment we left the experience was exceptional. Upon arrival we were offered a drink of our choice in the lounge, we were then checked in from here which made the process so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Throughout our stay the staff really made this a truly memorable experience, they were professional, warm and friendly offering excellent customer service at every opportunity. The genuine commitment to guest satisfaction creates a relaxed and care free environment. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, with a stunning beach and pool area. The restaurants are of a high standard and are very reasonably priced. The suites are clean and fresh, I really cannot fault them. I will most definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, and will very much look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this property.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite with a private pool, we wish we had as they really do look amazing!

This hotel does 'everything it says on the tin'. Having stayed at another Constantinou Brothers hotel in Paphos, we expected high standards but the five star rating is more than justified. You don't have to do anything for yourself as there is always a member of staff on hand to help. The staff are very friendly and always have time to ask after you and have a chat. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Sunbeds very comfortable and the swimming pool out of this world. The hotel grounds are well maintained and decorative.

One issue is towels on sunbeds before breakfast. This really winds us up, but in the end had to join in with this to secure decent beds. However too many people putting towels on beds and not showing up to use them. If you complain the staff will remove the towels so you can use the beds if unoccupied.

In summary a fantastic holiday at a great location. Roll on the next visit!

This Hotel was fantastic, suites roomy and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the Hotel. Staff where amazing, food excellent. Comfortable loungers with lots of space (every 2 loungers had their own parasol and table) What else to say? Thoroughly deserving it's 5 star status. Will definateley return.
