My wife booked a one bed villa with a private pool and sea view at the Elysium. We had a fantastic time there.

The villa was spacious and spotless, it had a private plunge patio area which was great for sun bathing. There wasn't to much of a sea view as the trees and vegetation between the villa and the beech was quite tall. The villas also have a large communal pool, which was great for a swim as there was never many people around there.

The food was excellent, you could have buffet or choose to have à la carte, my wife is vegetarian and did not like the choice from the buffet when we ate there so the waitress provided her with options from the à la carte menu which was great.

I would recommend the hotel, it's not cheap but there and then you get what you pay for.

That was a phrase one of the other guest used and how right they were. My wife and I were celebrating our Ruby wedding and the holiday was wonderful. The cab we booked through the hotel was waiting for us at the airport. The driver was polite and drove us in a safe manner to the hotel. Where we were greated enthusiastically by the porter. We were quickly registered and treated to a welcome drink before being taken to our room. To be brief the food was excellent the staff friendly polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The pool and beach area were great. There is a well maintained path that follows the coast to Pathos. A 40 minute walk
that allowed us to tuck into the delicious food with a clear conscience.

Stayed for 10days and enjoyed every minute. Good pools, good beach and comfortable rooms. .We were half board and struggled not to eat too much, Buffets were delicious. Found the staff universally cheerful and very helpful. Not cheap but if you can afford it you do get your moneys worth.

Room Tip: Best rooms overlook the pool.

We returned here for our tenth anniversary after having our wedding reception here in 2004. As we remembered and have seen every time we have come back the service is top class and hotel faultless.
The kids club is excellent. Rachel is fab (the leader). She knows how to interact with the children and the children love her.
The rooms are really comfortable and clean, and the maids are really friendly, which in other hotels we have found they are not!
As always what makes breakfast is Marius. He is a bubbling, friendly chef who always has a friendly word for everyone and moonlights as a Cypriot dancer at the weekly Cyprus night.
A final compliment to all, housekeeping, pool, bar, resturant staff, who has a whole make this a wonderful hotel. A final thank you to Christos ( the general manager) for continuing to make this hotel as special as that day 10 years ago that we married here.

We are travellers that feel the urge to try somewhere new every year and don't see the point in revisiting hotels, but after staying here , I think that may change . We would be very happy to stay here again.
Positives - staff are exceptional , customer service is high on this hotels agenda . Every member was warm and friendly and couldn't do enough.
Kids club was brilliant . My son is never one to want to leave my side but Racheal is very good at her job and makes every day exciting and never a dull moment for the little ones .
Food is very fresh , good choice every night and cooked to exceptional standard.
Hotel is just 15 minutes from airport . Beds are comfy . Pool area is lovely. 10 minutes from the hArbour where there is lots of restaurants , bars , boats.
Negatives : The 'entertainment' . It is quite poor for a hotel of its calibre. Okay Singers and mediocre magicians most nights . A good entertainment programme would really make this hotel the best there is . The food and drinks are also rather expensive so take a bit of extra cash !

Room Tip: Cypriot Maisonettes are a bit pokey if you have little ones and a buggy , basic rooms are much wider

The Elysium is a wonderful hotel with big pool area and toddlerpool, large lawn and private sandy beach cove.
The rooms are comfortable, large and clean. The staff mainly at restaurant area but even in all other departments for example reception or room service is very friendly and responds at all wishes of the guests.
The varied themed buffet at evening is excellent and is presented with commitment by chef Krasimir who is very friendly, helpful and courteous. Quality and presentation of food is first class and has had no wishes more left open.
And also the chef at breakfast buffet Mario is spreading always good mood and has nice words for the guests.
However i would like to wish that pools would be heated in the low saison, but this should not reduce the good assessment.
We are more than satisfied and recomment the hotel without restrictions.

Spent 5 days here for a spa break and I can not fault the hotel. The spa is exceptional with fabulous treatments. Every member of staff in all the bars and restaurants are polite and will do anything to help you. For a half board package we were amazed at the quality of the buffet food. Each night a different theme and so much choice but the best thing was that the tables were set beautifully and the service was so good you really felt you were eating in a five star restaurant. Each night there is entertainment in the bar and we highly recommend going to see the illusionist Paul Thomas who's act was unbelievable in parts.
Would return and having been to Paphos on many occasions I would say this is the best hotel available.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a sea view
