“Not just a great Sunday Lunch”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

We've lived in Coral Bay for many years and know which restaurants to patronise and which to avoid. Without doubt the Blue Olive is one of the best kept culinary secrets in the area and is our regular choice for Sunday lunch. For Euro 15.50 you can enjoy 2 beautifully cooked and presented main courses, or Euro 17.50 for three, plus half litre of wine and coffee to finish. Portions are more than adequate and the service is friendly and efficient.
Other weekday meals are excellent too.
We recommend this superb little restaurant to all tourists - and to residents like us, but we already know the secret of the Blue Olive.

“Excellent Food”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

Excellent Freshly Cooked Food, Casual but Correct Service, Priced Fairly and a place to eat a three course meal or a 'lite bite' for lunch. Very British cuisine and Ambience, including freshly made tasty puddings . Beer Selection from Local Brewery ( British run ). Unfortnately, only one Cyprus wine available, which is regrettable in my opinion. Very Pleasant for evening dinner, but no view for daytime visits. Even the sandwiches for take-away picnics are seriously English and seriously delicious.

“Amazing Service”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We stayed at the Sunrise Beach Villas I, just down the road. Before we arrived we were nervous about the villas and I reached out to a Trip Advisor reviewer and she contacted Keith, the owner. He walked down the road to check out the villas and reported back they do indeed exist and were nice. Of course we had to stop by the restaurant to thank him for giving us some peace of mind before we arrived. We didn't get a chance to thank Keith in person but we did get to the restaurant. All the wonderful reviews were accurate.

“What a find”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

My wife and I spent two weeks in Coral Bay Cyprus staying in a villa just 200 metres from The Blue Olive. Due to a mistake in our booking we had to leave our villa and find alternative accommodation. We found an apartment for 2 nights overlooking The Blue Olive. We decided to have a lunchtime drink, which led to lunch and a fab salad and just cooked quiche. We heard from other locals that the food was very good. We booked for dinner which proved to be a great move. We loved all of the food and the service was excellent. During our meal, the owner, Keith announced he had just baked a bakewell tart with apricot jam! It was gorgeous. This place is a gem, the menu is excellent and the setting is quiet and tranquil. After our meal we sat outside to have liquors with the beautiful Moon above us. Even the background music is nice. Home tomorrow. So wish we had found it earlier. We will be back. If you visit Coral Bay, Cyprus please pay this place a visit. You won't be disappointed.

“A really pleasant surprise”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

I'd known about this restaurant for a while but had never ventured there. Wow, what a mistake. Even though the dinner menu is limited, there is something for everyone. Both the duck and tuna are the best I've had in Cyprus. Service is very good, and the location is quiet being well away from the hustle and bustle of the CB strip. Costs are very reasonable, so give it a go.

The breakfast and lunch menu is also good and ideal for the lazy days when you don't want to cook at home.
