“Hidden gem”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Quiet haven oozing history hidden just behind Debenhams off the harbour! Walkways allow you to get up close to mosaics/ancient pillars/columns - informative panels and historic church still used - and it's free!

“Free entry and plenty to see.”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

The site is open to anyone to wander in free of charge. Well made walkways give access to the Byzantine mosaics and foundations and to St Paul,s Pillar.

Small, still alive ancient church, surrounded by astonishing archeological park with remainings of initial basilica.

“An accidental gem”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

We were walking towards the harbour at Paphos, took a slightly different route and came upon this site. What a surprise, and a good one at that. Comprising a medieval church, still active, built over a huge basilica, 4th C AD, with impressive ruined remains, and incorporating St Paul's Pillar.
Well worth a visit, and free too!
