Most of the food we had out here was fine and we had high hopes of this place. It was just around the corner to our hotel and at the time of our visit, the Farm House Tavern was in the top 10 of almost 500 restaurants in Paphos on Trip Advisor.
Thought we'd try a steak here and both of us plumped for a fillet steak at over 20 euros each. Have to say that what turned up on the plate was the thinnest fillet steaks we'd ever seen and although it was cooked to my liking, it was more like a very average fried steak than a fillet in texture. The meal was not particularly substantial and was accompanied by a very small selection of vegetables, although the sauce that mine was cooked in was reasonably tasty.
I feel sure that the rest of their meal options here must be a lot better than this to have attained such a good rating from others. I also have no doubt that there are many better steak restaurants than this place in Paphos, but it put us off from asking for steak again I must admit.
