Description: Dias Zeus was chosen by The Culture Trip to feature in their article on Cyprus' 10 best cultural restaurants in 2014 and one of only 2 selected from the Paphos area. The restaurant's popularity with diners also saw it awarded Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence in the same year. Situated on Tombs of the Kings Avenue in Paphos, the restaurant boasts a spacious outside terrace and comfortable interior with an impressive fireplace for chilly winter evenings! Decorated in the familiar blues and whites of a Greek taverna, Diaz Zeus provides a memorable Mediterranean dining experience complemented by exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE THAT DIAS ZEUS IS CLOSED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS.

On the tomb of the kings road, this place was a fantastic find. We were only in Paphos for a week early April 2013, so we said we would eat somewhere different every night. However, we had to return to this one. This is a traditional Greek/Cypriot restaurant, not like the others with their tourist appeals. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. My husband had the sea food grill both nights as it was so good. I had the lamb kleftiko first time and the meat mixed grill, on the second visit. Both were excellent. The helpings are large, even for our big appetites, and so we didn't sample the desserts.
The atmosphere is lovely and all the clients, when we were there, had made an effort for the evening - no shorts and beach wear - one of my pet hates on holiday (take a shower before you eat!). The waitresses were so friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see us when we returned. They also didn't need to have anyone outside trying to "persuade" you to come in like most others did.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a true taste and atmosphere of Cyprus, not fish and chips or maccie D (You should never go abroad if that's all you want.)
It's only down side is the road it's on, very busy and noisy - shame it's not near the harbour.

The best meal we have had in Paphos. Amazing food and service. Starters of Calamari, bruschetta with tomato and feta and garlic bread are to be recommended. For mains we had the mixed grill which was wonderful and the fish platter which was exceptional. We really had no room for a sweet but were persuaded to try the home-made baklava - honestly this was to die for - PLEASE DO NOT MISS OUT! 2 litres of wine and all this was less than 60 euro for. The waitresses were so pleasant and the atmosphere was lovely. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a fantastic meal at amazing value for money. Wish they were in our village!!!!

Our favourite restaurant in the area. The staff at this restaurant work hard to make you feel welcome and if you go there once you will want to return. We were greeted like regulars having eaten there six months before. Most of the diners there were return customers which is the best recommendation. The food has the usual range of Cypriot specials with a few more unusual dishes. Its always good to see the chef coming out to talk to diners about their meals.

We chanced upon this restaurant within walking distance of where we were staying in Paphos. We have eaten in many places in various parts of Greece and would strongly recommend this restaurant if that's the type of food that you're after in this part of Cyprus. Don't be put off by its location on the 'strip' - it really is an oasis amongst the bars and McDonalds type of places, so much so that we returned to eat there a couple more times! The food is simply excellent, and at very reasonable prices. Being low season, we actually benefitted from a 15% reduction off the bill but, even at full price, it would have been fine. We were served by Lucy, and you couldn't wish for a nicer or more efficient waitress.
