went here about 11 pm as we arrived late and tho they were very friendly, and gave free garlic bread, which hub liked the other food wasn't so great, i had seabass which was a bit frazzled around the edges, the chips were lovely tho, and hub had lasange which he said was very sloppy and not a great taste. i only had a coke to drink, hub had a beer and this come to 35 euros which as we were tired we didn't realise was too much as mine was 12, hubs 10, coke only prob 2/3 which left the beer at 10/11, not quite right, put us of going again

We stopped off here for lunch on our way back from visiting the Tombs of the Kings.

It took a while for the food to arrive and when it did my pizza was frozen in the middle. The manager insisted it had been made freshly that morning but when he reluctantly tried some of my pizza-popsicle he took it away offering to re-heat it. No thank you.

I wish we had walked past this place.

Went here one evening - good prices (they offer a set menu with loads of choice at a great price) and the service was also good but both my husband and I were disappointed with the way the food was cooked - husband had lambs kebabs and they were really overcooked and I had pasticcio (pasta with meat and sauce baked in a pot) and it was burnt on the bottom and tasted burnt all the way through. Shame as rest of food was really nice.

We have just come back from our holiday in Paphos and ate at San Marino on our first night and again on our last night as it was indeed the best restaurant serving local dishes. The complimentary village bread to whet your appetite whilst deciding what to eat (quite a task!) was a really nice touch. I had the swordfish kebabs on both occasions as I found it the best swordfish I have ever had and hubby had moussaka on the first night which he said was superb and then had steak with bernaise sauce on the second visit. He is quite fussy about how his steak is cooked (cremated) and said that it was cooked to absolute perfection. The side-salad was perfect and just as we expected a village salad to be. The staff are polite, courteous and ever helpful (especially when it came to getting his steak right!) and truly the best restaurant on Tomb of the Kings Road and definitely the best value for money. Why go to Paphos and not eat local food? This food was far better than any of the English and other restaurants. If you are ever in Paphos please try San Marino - you will not be disappointed.
