Situated overlooking the sea in Kissonerga, north of Pafos, the Doria is a friendly resurant where nothing is too much trouble and the food is excellent. The food is traditional Cypriot, delicious and very reasoably priced.

“Return visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

We ate twice at Doria Beach Restaurant in 2009 so decided to return as we had very good memories of the location, the staff and the fish meze. When we arrived we were a little concerned as it was very quiet. On previous visits it had been packed and lively. You were lucky to get a table in 2009 but now many were empty. However we were given a good table and drinks and bread arrived quickly. We waited ages for our order to be taken but just decided to chill and enjoy the wine. We had Troodos trout to start with and dips with warm pitta bread. All delicious. Main course for me was beef stroganoff. This was one of the best stroganoffs I have ever had. Sauce was rich and creamy without being too rich. The meat was tender. Linda had sea bream. Fresh and delicious. We had no room for dessert but had coffee and liquers. We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The chef and owner were very friendly and welcoming. The other waiter seemed very bored though and said very little. We are sad that it is now so quiet at this restaurant as it still has the good food it always had. We will visit again and sincerely hope it can return to it's former glory. Thank you for a lovely evening.

“So amazing we dined at the Doria 3 times in 2 weeks!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

The setting of the Doria is perfect, lovely to look out on to the sea whilst you eat.

The service is outstanding and were always welcomed with a hand shake.

The traditional Cyprus food was delicious and such a good price!

If you visits Paphos the Doria you must!

“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

Went to the Doria after looking on internet for recommended restaurants in Paphos/Coral Beach area. We sort of went undercover to try the food as we were looking for a venue for our daughters wedding breakfast, she wants it in a traditional Cypriot restaurant, we were not disappointed the food was superb as was the wine and excellent value for money. Much better than the other restaurants we tried out, so good we are considering having the wedding feast there, just waiting on prices etc
