We spent a weekend here with our extended family, and had a wonderful time. Two beautiful cabins, a few minutes walk from the beach. Great for children or just to relax. The cabins have everything that you could want, and are designed with excellent taste, and the yard and front porch are green, with views of the dunes and the sea in the distance. This place is great, and we will surely return here!

W'eve spent a wonderful weekend after our wedding.
The sea is a few minutes walk, and the beach is gorgeous.

The cottage is very well kept and it seems that everything was well thought of.
The fresh brownies that the hostess, Jeannette, makes a re to die for!

We'll definitively come back!

Thanks Jeannette!

Room Tip: The "Wind" cabin is bigger and more isolated than the "Sea" cabin.

Our stay was everything a vacation should be - I was reminded of a rural beachside vacation cottage of my childhood. Just a few of the lovely impressions: Gazing at / walking through the the grass-covered rolling dunes; dining with family on the tree- and flower-lined porch (we had a few of the overhanging ripe loquats with dinner); lying in the loft, gazing up at the pine beams and skylight, The artisan-proprietor Jeannette Fain-Rotterman is a delight, and we thoroughly enjoyed her painted interiors, shell-and-pebble mobiles, and of course ceramic pieces.

We took the house for our wedding night and the night right after. we loved the place so much! we had so many things to do, so many errands to run but we just didn't want to leave the place.
there are lots of things to do around the place but all we wanted to do was to spend some time in the house or in the garden.
very convenient for couples, families and friends. we took the bigger wooden house since we had a lot of arrangements to do before the weeding. we found that it's big enough for a family, easily.

all we want to do is to go back there... (and we leave 15 min away!)

From the moment we arrived, we were met by our hostess which set the tone for our get-away. We were five women friends staying in a warm log cabin while the wind and rain raged outside. However, we felt cozy inside. Between rain showers, we had long walks to the beach and surrounding village.
The cabin is well-thought out, planned with guests in mind and many artistic, fun surprises. All the equipment we needed to prepare our meals, relax, listen to music, watch a movie and hang out. The porch was a safe haven from the wind and rain and gave us another space for smelling the freshness around us and breathe in the coastal air. Very comfortable and clean. The homemade brownies were an extra treat!
