We travelled as a couple in March 2013. Booked through First Choice, stayed for two weeks and paid for a superior room on an All Inclusive basis. We had also emailed the hotel and asked them for a top floor room, which they very kindly provided.

Without doubt, this is a good quality hotel. It is well managed; the emphasis is on "service", and this they deliver in all its aspects. The first hotel we have seen in some time where the Public Relations Manager is visible, helpful and a delight.

There are 200 comfortable rooms, but you would have to book and pay for a sea or pool view. This is a good 4 star location in the more upmarket part of Limassol, around 8 miles to the Old Port and the Old Town. The hotel enjoys an elevated position overlooking the sea but fronted by the Limassol Beach Road. There are not many shops or bars near to the hotel.
The Limassol Road carries a lot of traffic and can be noisy, even at night. However, this is also the main bus route, and at 1 Euro a trip or 3 Euros for a hop on or hop off day ticket, it is great value for getting out and about. Buses also run to Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa. These are the Intercity buses and cost more but have limited stops.

NOTE: Those who have mobility problems might find the walk to and from the road and the beach a little challenging. There is an underpass enabling safe crossing of the road.

The Hotel offers Half Board, Full Board and All Inclusive packages. If you don't book the All Inclusive package you can still upgrade at the hotel. All Inclusive costs 27.50 Euros per day per person and the Beverage Package Costs 20.50 Euros per person per day. Drinks are priced at typical hotel costs and so upgrading might be worthwhile. The All Inclusive package is good value but does not include "branded" alcoholic drinks. Absolut vodka, for example is 5 Euros.

The main restaurant (LEDA RESTAURANT) is friendly, bright and well designed. Disappointingly, there is no show cooking but the chef will carve the roast joint of the day. The buffet is varied but the food wasn't always as hot as I would have liked but that didn't detract from the enjoyment. Drinks are brought to you by the waiters. Incidentally, this hotel understands what a dessert offering should comprise. If you have a sweet tooth this is for you.

TIP: If you don't want to be seated right next to others, then ask for a quiet table.

The house wine is Italian! The red, white and Rose are fine but there is a wine list for those with a more discerning taste.

There is also an A La Carte Restaurant, and All Inclusive guests can book one visit during their stay. Guests on other packages can also book but there is a supplement to pay.

Wi-fi is FREE! Its not fast but it works.
Safety Deposit boxes are charged at 3 Euros a day
Poole Towels are provided so don't pack your own. Save the weight and avoid the washing!
All Inclusive Guests do get tea and coffee making facilities in their rooms. Guests on other tariffs can hire these facilities.

There are two good sized swimming pools. The outside pool was freezing but will warm up eventually. Plenty of sunbeds and you don't have to get up early to bag one!. There is also a fantastic indoor pool with sliding glass roof which makes a perfect location for lying out on a sunbed without feeling the breeze. There is a also a wonderful Spa with a wide range of treatment and a good gym for those wanting to burn off the excess calories.

During our stay the Bay Grill was not open and the beach bar and Taverna down on the beach were also closed. These open in Mid May when guests have the added advantage of being able to walk down to the beautiful garden area taking advantage of the beach beds and facilities reserved for hotel guests only.

This Thomson's Couples hotel attracts a more mature clientele during March, but during the rest of the year the age range will be more varied. The hotel DOES NOT admit children under the age of 16.

We certainly experienced great service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and they work hard.

TIP: If you want to reward good service, tip as you go rather then leaving it till the end of your holiday!

The TUI reps are also a great help in this hotel. Both Matt and Nikki are knowledgeable, attentive and very happy to take time to chat

Hope this overview helps you to make the right decision.

Room Tip: Pay for a Superior Room and email the hotel to ask for the top floor.

We went as a couple last November and from the time we arrived until we left we couldn't fault anything. The food was plentiful with a great variety and the attentiveness of the waiting staff was amazing. Everywhere was spotless and the room was lovely. As soon as you sat by the pool or sat in the bar someone was there to take your drinks order. There was a bus strike while we were there so we never got to experience the bus ride to town. If its peace and quiet and total relaxation you are looking for, then this is the place for you !!! We shall be back !!! Many many thanks to you all for such a lovely holiday.

Arrived home late last night. Had to write to extol the vitues of this home of the Gods.

Where to begin - everything and I mean everything - was perfect - beyond our wildest dreams.

Fully inclusive - with class.

A buffet restaurant did mean you chose your own food and placed it on your plate. However, no queues, no running out, everything presented perfectly and plentifully - with the widest of choices every session.

That was the only effort guests had to make! That's why I mention it - everything else throughout our stay was done for us and with only seconds before it happened...they are all telepathic!

Smiling well trained staff greet you througout. You are escorted to a seat, napkin 'lapped' for the lady. Immediately, a wine waiter takes you order. You stand and sort your food - on return, your drinks are waiting.

An empty dish or plate? Removed as soon as you lay down your cutlery.

Deserts - the widest of choices and delicacies.

The lounge, the pool where you chill out. You sit down. A moment passes and your drink request is being noted. Very swiftly, the drinks, plus either biscuits (tea coffee accompaniment) or nuts/popcorn for beer, wine etc.

Empty glass? Instantly noticed by the ever roaming staff (they walk miles and miles and miles). Replaced if required or another check after disceet time.

Entertainment - very good with one exceptional singer during the week (we missed some nights). In the lounge - a pianist - young lady who really enjoyed her playing and got rapturous applause for her 'background' music.

Reception - whatever information you require...no problem.

A wonderful hotel enhanced by wonderful staff who treat you as a deserving God.

Recommend - Fully Inclusive and room with sea view - which is also pool view. Well worth the extra on both counts.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Room 245 13-20th March 2013.

Room Tip: Pay for sea view - sun and view of sea + pool.

Room execellent , bed comfy plenty of pillows, nice flat scren telly and english programmes, pleasent decor and spotless, also fridge, tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer. Safe available for 21euros per week. Food fantastic plenty to choose from alway hot and fresh, and dining staff brillant, showing you to tables pulling your chair out and placing your napkin in your lap, all little things that make you holiday that bit more special. Piano area, ballroom and pool area staff brillant, never went to the bar for a drink, as soon as your glass empty they are there polite and smiling, with drinks, and nuts peanuts or biscuits. Hot and cold swimming pools all very clean. Because we had been here before on the second day we arrived back to our room to a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit a thank from the management. Bus service right outside hotel 3 euros for all day tickets excellent value. Two very small niggles no toliet on the receeption floor and pool towel area not manned had to go back twice to get towel and three times to return them! If you want a good holiday, to be treated special, decent food drink and happy polite staff give this hotel a go you wont go wrong. Thanks to all the hotel staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Room Tip: our first visit we were on the ground floor with seaview second room 412 without sea view, but didnt bother us as we didnt spend must time in room and there was lifts avaiable.

we have just spent a fantastic week at this hotel and we would just like to say the service we received from the minute we arrived till will left was second to none.Maria welcomed us on behalf of all the Management and staff and we felt immediately at home.because we were away from the main town it was a very relaxing holiday just what we wanted. All the staff in the restaurant and the bars worked tirelessly to make us feel welcome and the room which was a seaview was upgraded which was a lovely surprise and it was immaculate, and cleaned to a very high standard. The resident Duo Family Affair were also excellent and any tune you wanted they could accomodate and we really enjoyed the evenings in the Balroom being entertained by them and the team. cant wait to go back. .
