It's a pity that part of the Promenade near the old port has been fenced off as it's being redeveloped, but I suppose it will look great when it's finished.

“A nice walk and a very good beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

Limassol Promenade streches for more than 10 kilometres from the old harbour - now undergoing a serious "face lift" - to the ruins of ancient Amathous: uninterrupted sea views, particularly nice to walk early morning or late afternoon, scattered with small coffee shops and public benches where one can sit and enjoy the views without paying anything, passing in front of beautiful hotels with ever green gardens and a real joy to Cypriots and visitors alike. The part of the promenade opposite the Limassol Public Gardens (a nice place to visit and cool down in a hot day) is adjucent to a very nice public beach, sandy and clean - crowded after 11 in the morning but excellent before that or late in the afternoon. One can walk to other nice beaches such as: infront of the Limassol Naurical Club, the Dhasoudi (small acacia forest) or right opposite Debenhams store.

“Great walk and sea views”

Great walk along the promenade and many ships near the harbour. Great place to meander around and soak up the town life

“Too little too long”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

What was an attractive walk has been under reconstruction for far too long - how can so much of it be barricaded off during the height of the tourist season? There are a few small cafes for coffee and drinks but no proper restaurants on the sea side. Larnaca seafront has been developed with much more appeal.

“Rebuild now even better”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

The promenade have gone through a major rebuild during the winter, and it is now even better than ever. Lot's of opportunities to just chill at cafe's, enjoying the view over the ocean or some of the art that are displayed in the area. Playground for children and even a skate park for the bigger ones and different styles of water fountains and small water pools which are very nicely crafted. This place is always nice, being it for a morning run, dazing in the sun during the day or a nice evening walk.
