““Good Value for the Price We Paid””
Reviewed August 23, 2011

We had a lovely time here. The rooms were basic, but the beds comfortable, and the balcony a good size overlooking a very tidy and well kept hotel.
The pool was nice, the food was ok.
The staff were rather pleasant and friendly also. Hotel is in a good place near to Limassol to walk into the busy area it would take around 20-30 mins depending how fast you walk.
There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel. Daily bus ticket 2 euro.
ps nice, wide beach.

My mum and I stayed here from 19th-26th July and were expecting it to be horrible to say the least. We both both quite suprised and felt it was worth the amount the holiday had cost (as you do only get what you pay for!!)

Decor is dated, lift closes very quickly so beware, food is very basic (but you never would go hungry!) and no drinks are included in your evening meal (not even water!!) You have to buy drinks from them you are not even allowed to take in a bottle of your own water.

Thats probably about as bad as it gets, the pool was nice and it wasnt very busy so we always got a sunlounger as well. Drinks are expensive around the pool area but we bought water from the shop which is just literally down the steps from the pool.
Rooms are on the small side but are adequate for 2 people and the maid came everyday.

I would stay here again for the price, i think some people book cheap and expect the world.. dont listen to the bad reviews its not that bad and you never can please everyone!! :)

Try Hamlets bar for good drinks offers, the arsinoe hotel just down the road does happy hour on cocktails from 9.30-10.30 everynight and Rums does a nice Blue Lagoon cocktail, For food Blue bar and amoria on the beach front.

We have stayed at this hotel several time, but this year will be the last!! Over the years no real improvements have been made. Breakfast is ok, but just one toast machine! For the amount of people there it wasnt really adequate. One morning there was a very strong smell of cat pee in the breakfast room, so everyone was sitting outside!! The rooms haven't changed in the last 8-9 years that we have been going, i think that the towels are the same aswell!! The receptionist Maria is very nice and helpful. On the whole the area has become very run down with a neglected feel about it. A few of our favourite restuarants had closed down and the place was overflowing with Russian tourists (who are very rude to say the least). I feel sad that we wont be returning because in the past we have had some wonderful holidays at the Navarria andthe area.

We travelled to Cyprus in July to the above hotel, hotel was clean and staff friendly.
Food was repeated every day and night but breakfast was worst sometimes no milk for cereal, bacon was replaced with spicy sausages beans and chips, chips for breakfast!
and to fight for white bread for toast, eggs were disgustng.
The towels though clean would rip the skin off your back, and 1 small towel that wouldnt dry your big toe.
We were told no drinks or food allowed in hotel room hence no fridges, so sun lotions like water with heat plus we need a drink of water at night to take some meds.
also no ice cream in restaurant told to buy it at pool side bar but not allowed in restaurant.
the area was very dissapointing 3 small shops 2 decent cafes where we did have to eat sometimes. Did have a good bus service which we took several times into main shops.
all in all i would not recommend this hotel or area and it has put us off in returning.
p.s. also no fresh fruit whoever has heard hotel no fresh fruit Grapes etc.

me and my friend needed a cheap get away and this hotel popped up. after paying not as much as normal i wasnt expecting to be overwhelmed! but i can honestly say i was shocked! its a lovely quiet hotel which it situated close to the beach and other amenities. we did travel out of season so i cant comment on the night life as it was quite but thats what we wanted. i would recommend to couples at this time of year.
the room was clean BASIC but did what it had to. when booking i suggest you pay or request a pool view room. we didnt and we did hav the motorway as our balcony view, we were a little worried about the noise on our first evening but suprisingly we didnt hear alot at all BUT during the high season i dont think it would be so quiet with the balcony doors open. the rooms were ait conditioned and we were given clean towels and bedding regular. no hairdryers girls so pack yours! lol
the pool area was kept clean but not many sunbeds but i am a beach girl so we went to the beach most days. the food was limited and not alot of choice but you do only get what you pay for! i am a fussy eater but i ate well all holiday.
the bar and hotel staff were so friendly and got to know most of the visitors. the bar staff were very good at keeping everyone happy and nothing was a problem. they even helped us plan our days out as we explored the island. there local knowledge was MUCH better than our rep! SAY NO MORE... USELESS!!!! theres plenty bars and resturants on the VERY long strip of limassol.
BIG RECOMMENDATION get the bus up and down the main strip right to the old harour its very cheap on the bus and you can get on and off all day with a 2 euro ticket! get off to shop, explore and sunbath on the many beaches.
if u like to get out and about us the bus to do this .
TAXIS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!
over all would recommend for a cheap break, dont expect glitz and glam but basic, clean, good location and friendly! i would return.

Room Tip: ask for pool view room shouldnt be as noisy

If your not goverened by school holidays or brainwashed into the holidays in summer only routine, the Hotel Navarria,Limassol,Cyprus provides the perfect escape.Cyprus is definitely an all year round resort,While the U.K. was shivering in frost & snow last December,I was basking in mid to high 20 degree temperatures in Cyprus, and the holiday was so cheap, compared to summer prices.
Choosing the right holiday provider is a must, both Olympic & Mercury Direct use the Navarria and you can play one against the other to obtain the best deal, both have NO single person supplement, which was a boon for myself, and being my second holiday there, the hotel hotel gave me a free room upgrade. When booking your holiday go for lowest rates, for the hotel is a lot cheaper than the agents on any form of upgrade.I checked out airlines and have found that ,in my opinion,Monarch provide the best service,I fly from Manchester, and their scheduled wednesday flight has the best departure and return flight times, the transfer from Larnaca airport (Navarria one of the first drops)gets you in in time for the evening meal, and the return flight gets you to Manchester to arrive at your home/destination at a reasonable hour.
The hotel itself is first class, rooms are first class with all facilities(no kettle though),clean, tidy and quite spacious, room service is very good and regular.I stayed half board and choice of menu both meals was first rate, with good wholesome food,on a changed daily, themed menu in the evenings, and first rate waiter service morning and evening.First rate bar, with reasonable tariff and entertainment every evening,in spacious lounge with comfortable seating.Public transport is frequent, every 20 minutes, from a stop less than 5 minutes walk from hotel(at old mans pace) and the fare to Limassol centre is 1 euro.In my two visits I've tried all the tours, the one that I would reccomend is the Troodos Mountain tour, spectacular views and unchannged villages, also try the"blanket tour" that gives you time after the selling speil to visit the monastry, really very interesting with good, reasonable priced taverna in car park.If you don't want to go into limassol or on an organised tour, there is a nice sandy beach less than 5 minutes walk away, with a good taverna at hand.Plenty of shops close at hand, but not too close to be a noise problem. If you just want to laze about and top up your tan, there is a large pool with ample sun loungers( there's an inside gym plus outside flood lit tennis court, but they're not my cup of tea)
All in all,a first class hotel that provides for all ages and different types of holidays.
