My wife and I had no problems with the food, plenty of choice at all meals. Those that tried the Meze were very enthusiastic, large portions.
Our room on 3rd floor was excellent.
We had good service from all the staff we had dealings with.
As the brouchure pictures show the hotel is right on the beach, although the alternative choices for food or entertainment in the area are limited. 1.5euros will get you into Limassol if you went a change.
The hotel has three pools, shallow for children, upto 1.5m for adults and deeper for a serious swim. There are plenty of sun beds, we had no problem with a choice of shade or sun.
Like a lot of Cyprus hotels the Elias specialises in weddings and stag/hen parties, they can be a little noisy during the day, but not a problem.
We found the entertainment a little disappointing. the duo who entertain in the bar or restaurant are good musicians but hardly inspiring.
The main entertainment venue, entrance from the gardens on the left of the building. is hardly intimate, bright white paint. plastic chairs, etc, although good sound and light system. The resident staff are enthusiastic but less than good all rounders. Singing was OK but dancing was so so.
The discos for the weddings were great, we used to listen to them when possible, pity we couldn't join the dancing!.More
