We went to the Elias beach hotel for a two week stay and for my cousins wedding back in June. The hotel itself is outstanding, beautifully decorated and homely. The staff are very friendly, however could be doing more as sometimes we were having to clear tables at meal times. The outside setting of the hotel is beautiful, and exceptionally well maintained. My cousin was married on the pier, a Scottish themed wedding with a piper and the men in kilts, which the hotel staff were all excited to see. The only issues I'd say we had on the holiday was that dining facilities were halved when there was an outside wedding/party at the hotel (these people not even staying in the hotel) we weren't happy about this as we paid good money to be staying there. The amount of ants around in the restaraunts as well was unbelievable, and a simple bug spray could have prevented this. The cleaners leave the balcony doors open when they have finished, and cockroaches had went into one of our friends rooms, and into the bed, they were moved rooms. Another issue was when other members of our family arrived for a week stay just in time for the wedding, their ground floor room was broken in to, and they didn't feel safe afterwards, however the following morning they were also moved to an apartment room on the first floor and then could relax and enjoy their holiday. So other than a couple of wee glitches the holiday was fantastic, so much so that the bride and groom are booked up for next year, to celebrate their first anniversary in the hotel. I'd highly recommend the Elias beach, it was by far the best holiday we have been on!

Just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks in Cyprus ,
we were there for our daughters wedding ,the staff were very good and met our every needs
it was a very busy hotel with people coming and going all week but they never forgot the people who were already there .
it has all nationalities and it worked very well.

the entertainment staff were always around inviting you to join in the activities .
they even got you up in the evening for a dance or a game to make the evening flow before the main entertainment .

if you travel with small children they are keen to keep them happy also.

the weddings go without a hitch as the wedding planners are there all the time keeping things clockwork , they have a lot of weddings at this hotel for the tourists and locals at week ends .

the hotel itself is a little out of Limassol but you can catch a local bus into the centre for approx. 1.5 euros ,
there are 2 or 3 bars within walking distance that have a good night life where you can mingle with some of the locals .

food is varied with many dishes to choose from ,always a good old fashioned English breakfast to start the day ,and for the health conscious the is also plenty of fresh fruit and veg .

we would like to thank all the staff for making our wedding/ holiday very relaxing and enjoyable,
and to the entertainment team (ella, paris, sam, rachel, emma? Emily and Louisa ) thanks it was a pleasure . hope to see you all again soon ?

The hotel lived up to all expectations and more!! food and drink flowed freely, nothing was to much trouble for anyone,.the hotel was clean and well looked after, and any minor problems were dealt with straight away. My son got married there and the day was beautiful! again nothing was to much trouble and everyone made the day so special for them! can fully recommend it. I must say a big thank you to the entertainment team you all work so hard and you do so much to make peoples holiday enjoyable if they dont join in and have fun then thats their loss. our party ages ranged from 2 through to 76 and we ALL enjoyed what you had to offer both daytime activities and the evening entertainment keep up the good work girls.

Beginning of June the weather was perfect for breaks during the three days of the conference that I attended. The balcony restaurant / cafe overlooking the pool was perfect for chilling out and the sea was visible a short distance away. Porbably one of the most enjoyable overseas meetings ever attended as every aspect of the Hotel was superb. I only missed the fact that coffee and tea was not available in my room and had to be ordered. Overall prices were excellent for room inclusive of breakfast.
Note that there are supplementary charges for using some of the facilities.
Taxi to and from the airport will cost you and avareage of €60 each way.
Considering booking a private holiday at this hotel next year same time.

Hotel was clean and rooms spacious with all amenities you would expect. The overall experience of this hotel though was nothing special. We booked this holiday thinking it would really nice but it was only ok. Food was very good but service was a little hit and miss by waiting staff. Wifi was usual and worked periodically but not reliable even when you were inside the building. Lots of activities for children without being intrusive and no rush to get sunbeds. There was a wedding almost daily which looked to be well organised but did seem as though focus was on that opposed to day to day running. I think the hotel is trying to cater for all groups of folk - it won't work! Food at the restaurant by the sea was wonderful. I would recommend the hotel for family holiday but not if you are looking for somewhere nice.

Room Tip: Get room as low as possible as two tiny lifts for size of hotel

The Bride and Groom would like to thank all the staff at the Elias Beach Hotel for making our Wedding Day so special and going above and beyond our expectations. We would also like to say thank you for all the little extras that we were not expecting as they were not included in the wedding package but really added to the day. We were really well looked after throughout our 10 day stay. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, who were all very friendly and extremely well mannered. We would also say that the room and food were excellent with a wide variety of food on the all inclusive menu. They also have the biggest all inclusive drinks menu that we have ever seen. If you are considering a Wedding in Cyprus then we would strongly recommend this hotel and the sunset pier venue as the venue is stunning and makes the pictures look amazing. We will definitely be going back to this hotel for a future holiday / anniversary. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Sea View rooms are very picturesque

My wife and I just returned from Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus. It was a great holiday and we left most reluctantly, especially my Russian wife who loves the sea, sand world. Our room was just fine, albeit our "sea view" we paid for was one-third sea, one third mountains and pool and one third parking lot. We didn't mind or ask for another as it was larger than the norm.
The food for a 4 star was just fine and plentiful. The variety was good, not great , and they seem very short on Beef-NO STEAKS or Roast Beef. We did the all-inclusive and were pleased we did. Booze was plentiful and the bartenders friendly and helpful. The grounds are attractive and well maintained. The manager should be given a congratulations on running a "tight" well trained staff. I say this as a former Hotelier myself of many North American hotel,
The guests where about 60-70% Russians, the balance Brits and assorted Euro.Arabs. Everybody got along and except for a hooligan Russkie in the nightclub "Havana"; there was not problem. The management 'gently' [too gently] banned him and then booted him out of the hotel a couple of days later. I was able to see both Russian and Anglo sides , thanks to my domestic situation.
TUI- the travel agency got us there on a shoddy Aeroflot Ilyushin airplane . ALL the Russkies applauded madly when we landed in both Cyprus and Moscow. Aeroflot should really send their Boeings/Airbuses there and back. Naturally the Aeroflot experience was "just" passable. A -D at best in relation to food, service and condition of the plane.
On entertainment, the ladies who ran the Havana Nightclub where very talented and friendly, especially Rachel and Emily, and nice Bulgarian lady Milena provided a very nice translation from English to Russian for Russians there. Too bad the hotel management didn't offer YOGA classes. My wife is a yoga devotee and I'm sure many of the Russkies and Brits would have participated.
TUI sent us on PAID excursions which cost another $US500. The best time was the DONKEY Sanctuary..as it was about of one hour with the donkeys and an evening of group dancings, so-so food and lots of disco dancing.. The other two- the Catamaran & Mountain "Grand Tour" where very boring and one saw very little or where they entertaining. I give them a 2 of 5 at best. The guides where nice..but not much to show!

Overall, I agree that the rating should be 4/5, Good for couples, especially newly weds and families with kids. I /we would definitely return. What else can be a better endorsement.
