We arrived at the hotel on 15/02/19 late afternoon.Overseeing the reception a young bespectacled man and woman. Whilst checking in the woman approached the man, pointed at the key card (room 414) with our documents said something then continued with what she was doing. Following her instructions the young man proceeded to write another key card out. I commented on this and was quickly assured he was doing us a favour as the room wasn't ready and this would prevent us waiting. We went to the room 436, dark room overlooking a dump/pre-building site. My husband returned to reception to request we wait for the original room only to be told the room had then gone. At this point we were told no other land facing room was available!! we paid a further £100 for a sea facing room. The room had obviously been allocated prior to our arrival, the staff were deceitful.

On a cheerier note, breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant very friendly and attentive.

The bar/cafe/ reception/lounge area 6-7pm happy hour is very busy and can be a long wait for service. The staff are friendly and efficient, just not enough in numbers during this time. There is a lack of atmosphere later in the night and unfortunately two seated balcony areas outside accessed through auto doors are frequented by clients who smoke. Therefore smoke penetrates into the area inside.

We accessed the areas around the pool during the day however, you should be aware the hotel has extensive building work currently underway. The car park is the building site for a new block of apartments drilling is constant at times.

The area near the hotel appears run down except for a few bars, restaurants and hotels (Four Seasons next door). Trippers bar adjacent is very smokey and Frank's bar further down is quiet. There are some good bars and restaurants near the castle in the Old Town and we thought the restaurants better than the Marina.

Number 30 bus runs frequently costs pre 9 pm 1.50 euro after 2.50 euro. Approximately 6 miles to Marina.

Average food/drink costs worth checking out. Our holiday was going to be a cheap one but, even small restaurants were quite pricey. Bruschetta =9 euros, average main 17-20 euros.

We paid extra for fine dining one night this was 100 euros. However two courses with mains of pasta at the local Italian was still 82 euros with 4 glasses of red plus water for two.

Room tip: This will depend on the staff.

Comfortable hotel with easy access to the beach and Limassol marina. We had a sea facing room which had great views. The room was nice if a bit tired looking, but with very little storage - if you’re there for a week you need to live out of your suitcase literally as there is no room to store things. The food was great both at the buffet restaurant and the breakfast bar. The staff at both these places were very nice- in particular Niko from the restaurant and Yogita at the breakfast place. They made us feel very welcome each time we went with great recommendations for things to eat and do in Cyprus. The staff at the reception and the spa however aren’t the politest- which is a shame as the rest of the staff are nice. Be warned - the parking is a mess at the hotel. Easier to park at the car park close by. The best part is the location- easy to explore Cyprus and the lady at the concierge was helpful in helping us plan excursions and day trips.

We came here for a week in Feb with some family friends. The hotel is nicely appointed with good facilities. We had a family room facing the pool. It was decent enough but a little on the small side, but very comfortable. The view over the pool and the ocean was great. We stayed half board and the breakfasts and dinners were really good with a lot of choice and good quality. Both were in buffet restaurants. We were particularly well looked after by Jogita in Aquaria for breakfasts and Nikos in Celeste for dinners. They were both very friendly and really helpful with any requests we had, particularly regarding the kids. Overall the staff were excellent, except for reception who were generally rude and didn't really help much. When we checked in we weren't told about how the half board works nor were we given any swimming pool towel passes, which apparently we should have been. One night we booked a table at the Japanese restaurant through reception but they made our reservation at the Italian restaurant instead. The staff at the Japanese restaurant were very accomodating though and made space for us.
Staff at reception were the only downside to this hotel, otherwise the staff and facilities were excellent.

Positive:
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The gym is very good and equipped with new machines. Also the sauna, steam bath and whirlpool are nice.

Negative:
Due to two separate bookings we were in different rooms during our stay. While in one room everything was fine, in the second room the WLAN didn't work properly. I found this quote annoying. Had I been there organizing a conference, this is the ultimate nightmare. I had mentioned it to the reception but it didn't improve. For holidays that might be tolerable (while annoying), but for work it's not good. Be aware that this hotel is quite far away from Limassol

Room tip: Sea view is nicer and more quiet, but also the land side is not too noisy
