I suppose if i'm honest i'm quite a picky person but this hotel is a delight and I would genuinely recommend to anyone. All the staff were friendly, everywhere was clean, nothing to much trouble and the food was first class.

We were at Mediterranean beach hotel Limassol in August 2012.We reserved a sea view family room on half board basis for one week.. All the staff -without exception- were extremely friendly, kind and helpful .The room was big enough for us with our 2 boys (1 double bed + 2 sofa beds) and it was very clean and had everything someone needs except the hair dryer. The view from our balcony was very nice but it could have been better on higher floors because unfortunately family rooms are only available on ground and first floor of the hotel as we have been told by the receptionist. Breakfast buffet at Aquaria was fabulous on the balcony near the gardens and the swimming pool with the birds coming near our table (the kids loved that) & the buffet dinner at Celeste restaurant was also fabulous, different food theme each evening (Mexican, Indian, Italian and the best was the traditional Cyprus night with traditional cuisine, live music and folk dance), a large variety of delicious and tasty food and desserts every evening (chapeau bas to the chefs), Our kids enjoyed very much their stay, they had a lot of fun each afternoon at the swimming pool , they enjoyed a lot playing with video games, table tennis and especially the peluche box, they caught 13 one :)), in addition to the kids club with its daily programs to entertain the children, it was really awesome. About the location, the hotel is close to the tourist area, but a bit far to walk to Limassol town, but u can easily reach the town by bus, and the station is right next to the hotel, and buses are comfortable, air conditioned with traditional music :) and u can also take Fasouri water park's bus from the same station. U can find plenty of restaurants, gift shops and markets just next to the hotel. The beach and the pool were lovely especially with the lagoon pool bar where u can enjoy ur refreshing drink while u are swimming.
It was a great vacation, we enjoyed so much our stay and of course we would love to come back !!!

Although we live in Limassol i decided to make a present to my wife and last minute i booked to spend Valentines night at the Mediterranean Hotel. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and to our surprise by the General Manager. They have also upgraded us to a sea view room. The room was very spacious and elegant in design with all comforts and the bathrooms are very clean and modern.

At night we had a delicious meal at Bacco and i can only say that we were really glad that we spend at least one night there to break the routine. Staff is great and very polite and definately we recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a special stay.

Room Tip: Sea View is a must

The cold winter reminded me that there is only one place that my wife and I return to to be ensured of a holiday where we can unwind but which provides us with a range of cultural options.
We visited in mid-September which was just past the very hot summer sun. Ideally if you like local culture (and wine) go for the Limassol wine festival during the first week of September.
The hotel excelled, as always. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. You are treated with great professionalism but as they get to understand your needs, you almost become a family member.
The grounds had suffered a little from a very hot summer and there were a few areas in the rooms which were a little 'tired' but the renovation over the winter will bring all back to first class condition.
The location of the hotel is ideal for a quiet holiday with the option of easy local interests. A good bus service takes you to the vibrant city of Limassol in 30 minutes. A 10 minute walk takes you to the ancient Roman ruins. The area around he hotel has a reasonable selection of local and tourist shops.
The hotel provides an excellent themed buffet each evening. This provides a great experience with a different theme each night. However you need to include a lot of exercise the next day or you will be charged excess baggage on the flight home. There are specialist fine dining options and also cost-effective snacks. If you want a change, there is a wide selection of local restaurants.
If you, like me, enjoy having your exercise done for you, the health spa provides an excellent range of massages and treatments.
In the evening there is a good variety of entertainment and a 'very happy hour' at the cocktail bar.
I suppose the most accurate comment I can make is that I have already put my money where my mouth is and will be returning at the end of May.
Many more happy returns.

Room Tip: The inland view is good value but there may be late night music in the bars across the road.

I have stayed there twice and it is one of my favourite budget hotels in Limassol. Especially during the carnival season the price to stay at the hotel is really cheap. The rooms don't have the wow factor but they are clean and have all the basics someone needs. The rooms with the sea and pool view are the best! The breakfast is absolutely amazing, you have so many options you don't know what to choose from. I recommend someon to stay there.

Room Tip: Sea, pool view and definitely non-smokers room!

This hotel gets a good rating mainly for the grounds and breakfast. the rooms are all slightly dated and haven't really been updated over the years. It is a good solid 4 star hotel, the pool area is lovely, the beach is Ok but that is normal for Limassol, you have to go out of town for the nicer beaches, would recommend Ladies mile and Curium beaches, the latter especially for sea food.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff were pleasant, the food is OK but Limassol has so many really nice restaurants I really would venture out and have a traditional Cyprus meze. It simply is a good solid 4 star

Room Tip: High sea facing room
