“Nice Break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

This is a lovely hotel which with only a couple of little adjustments could be one of the very best. Firstly it is very hard to find especially in the dark, secondly the prices of drinks is much too high, nearly 6 euros for a coffee, come on? and finally the staff are a little impersonal. All these things are little and did not really detract from a lovely few days away relaxing in a lovely spot. The room was great and the breakfast first class so all in all well worth staying at if you are in Limassol

Room Tip: Get good directions before going. Make sure you have a sea view room.

Staff (Reception, Lounge bar, Restaurant, Roomservice, Caretakers) were all very helpfull and friendly. Room was inviting and taken well care of. Food served (evening and morning) was excellent and rich of choices. When busy with business activities I was extra pleased with the Londa family smile that met me everywhere in the hotel. Rooms was spacy and airy. Fresh fruit and cakes served in room every evening (free). 100% value for the money. Will come back.

Hotel Londa is a relaxed, stylish, boutique place, perfect for getting away from it all. Like most luxury hotels, if you're a hair-shirt, frugal type, maybe this isn't for you. But if you don't mind spending a bit more money to get far-and-above the average hotel experience - this hotel is for you.

We were here for a week in November. The weather was great - nice and dry, with temperatures in the mid-20s - hot enough to need to jump into the outdoor pool every now and again, but not scorching. We got a great deal with a free upgrade to a sea view suite - the room was absolutely perfect: spacious, comfortable, well-designed and appointed - nice bit of luxury without being OTT.

Staff throughout the hotel were more than pleasant, and extremely helpful. A hire car was organised for us, no problem, and taxis into town can be got from right outside the hotel lobby. Reception also organised a taxi to and from the airport for us, at a reasonable rate. The spa is a definite must - we spent almost every early evening in the sauna and jacuzzi - and I had one of the treatment massages, which was fab. The pool area is also lovely. The beach area isn't the best, but it's nice that you can sit by the pool and hear the waves lapping beneath.

Breakfast was great - tasty, and lots of choice, from a cooked style, to Continental. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night, and the foot was nice. However, we ate out most nights - there are some good spots in the old part of Limassol.

The hotel bar and lobby areas are a great way to just sit and relax. Super-comfortable chairs, lovely lighting, and great table service from the bar staff. Oh, and good cocktails! It is the kind of place that could be a bit showy and self-conscious, but I'm glad to say, it really isn't. I felt completely relaxed and comfortable all the time at this hotel.

The hotel isn't cheap, but I honestly thought it was worth the money. Although you will end up spending money here, I don't think the prices were way over the top. For example, a cocktail was about £7 - no different to out and about in most cities in the UK.

The area where the hotel is located is within the Tourist area main drag. I was quite underwhelmed by the street itself, and I imagine in high season it could be really lively - but if you don't like that sort of thing, the hotel is a calm oasis amongst it all. At least there are lots of eateries and bars nearby, if you need.

We ended up eating out in the old part of Limassol mostly, getting a taxi down there. As well as good bars and places to eat, it's lovely to spend some time soaking up the pretty old streets and architecture. You should DEFINITELY try the Cleopatra Restaurant, where you can have the most delicious Lebanese mezze (and have a shisha pipe afterwards, if you fancy!). This was one of the best meals I've had in my life. So fresh and tasty. Like a taster menu too, with the exciting element of wondering what's coming next.

You should also hire a car for a couple of days at least, and drive up to the Troodos Mountains, Aphrodite's Rock, and/or the Roman ruins at Kourion. It's easy to drive (left hand side, hooray!), and lovely to stop off at little spots along the way.

I would definitely recommend going to Cyprus, and staying at the Hotel Londa, Limassol :)

Room Tip: Get a sea view room - the Sea View Junior Suite was stunning. Nice to hear the waves lapping from o...

We stayed at the Londa Hotel in Limassol. The hotel is very nicely appointed: nice bathrooms, good beds and nice linens. Staff were very friendly, especially those in the restaurant, but it did take over an hour for two simple main courses to arrive at dinner, and the choice on the full board menu was very restricted. I did get a vey good deal though, so still think it was excellent value and of course I will stay again.

I wanted a last minute christmas break to get away from the stress of life and forget the world for a few days. Londa helped with this aim to it's fullest.

Everything about this hotel spa is chilled. From the modern decor throughout, to the well staffed and equipped spa and beauty salon.

The room although not massive, was still lush and has the best view of the sea with the sun streaming in in the mornings. Little nice touches like cookies on the bedside table each night and fruit on arrival help to add to the experience.

The food was top notch. I was half board which I'd recommend, especially out of season as there weren't many restaurants to choose from along the strip. They definitely know what they are doing with fish, so would recommends trying out their fish dishes, of which there are a fair few to choose from.

The spa was as expected very relaxing and I spent at least an hour or two chilling each day there. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room all available as well as "sun" beds. Free tea and fruit.

I also opted for a full body massage (one of the hotel spa specialities). It was like heaven.
I felt rejuvenated afterwards and would recommend anyone to have at least one massage a stay.
The spa manageress was very professional, attentive and very friendly.

The bar area filled in the evening with locals which was nice so as not to be empty and each group tended to keep themselves to themselves. So I was basically left to enjoy my solitude which was the whole point of the holiday.

Would I come back? Yes, in a heartbeat. But only for relaxation.
If you're looking for an exciting fun filled holiday, this isn't for you.

If you want to feel refreshed and just chill for a few days, Londa is right up your street.

Room Tip: Go for the sea view. It's worth the extra.

The perfect birthday weekend with memories that I will cherish. The Londa staff could not have gone more out of their way to make our stay so special: upgrade to Executive Suite with the biggest and most comfortable bed ever, bubbly delivered to the room, birthday cake (avec candles) at breakfast. Amazing massage by Irene who shared my love of cats and we talked about our feline families the whole time. As a veggie, the menu in the Caprice was excellent and when I would normally have 1 meal as a token effort, I was spoilt for choice. I know they had their new menu and it was certainly worth sampling - great wine list too, all from Italy and France to complement the dishes. Oh and don't forget that the Relaxation room in the Spa is open to all guests as part of the stay rather than the usual extra - a real treat. Thank you Londa for a fantastic weekend.

Room Tip: Rooms are all different shapes and sizes - such is the 'designer' trademark of the Londa - w...
