We have nothing but praise for this hotel with only two gripes. First was that we had a Marina suite but there was no 'living area' as such just a main bedroom with the entrace hallway doubling up as a kids room with bunk beds and they stupidly put frosted glass on the doors to bathroom and main bedroom preventing the ability to blacken out the hallway when the kiddies had a siesta. Second very minor gripe no concept rowers in the gym (never understand why medium to large hotel gyms do not put rowers in - they last forever!)
The reception was excellent - very efficient. The room was very clean and they set it up quickly with our specific requests. The balcony was lovely - very spacious with a great view over the pool, marina, and sea.
The facilities were excellent for toddlers (we have 2 and 3 years old) with two main pools and two kids pools and one toddler pool brilliantly covered that kept out the sun until the afternoon. There was also an indoor pool with jacuzzi (but some selfish parent let their young children in so not very appealing).
The breakfast was one of the best of its kind with plenty of choice including international and local flavours. Special mention for the bacon which was like we Brits love and I made two bacon sandwiches using the french sticks (oink oink!) and the kids loved the pancakes (and I must admit I did too - with lemon and sugar absoultely excellent).
We did not do all inclusive but it seemed to be a great deal with plenty of choice and excellent value (if you do not take all inclusive to eat in the hotel is expensive avg. €28 per person).
The evening entertainment was great with a kids disco (although they played too many games and not enough songs) and local dance exhibition after.
The biggest hit was the water slide. My 3 3/4 year old cried when she realised she could not go down it anymore. You do have to go down with them if the kiddies cannot swim but great excuse for dad and Mum to have a go too!
The beach is pretty good by Cyprus standards (do not expect golden sands) and plenty of beach beds and shade nearby.
We stayed 2 days and wanted more so I think we will return if we do Cyprus again.
Recommend Embers restaurant nearby and Lisa's bistro was good but better to go on the nights she does specials (Fridays curry night €12 and Fish and chip supper a bargain at €10 and best fish and chips in Europe).
