Artime is a stylish restaurant located just opposite of the Medioeval Castle in Limassol. Everything looks good when you get in: the stone walls, the settings, the music, the kindness of the waiter. Pity that the food is not at the same level. It starts with the menu: a lot of dishes, which makes you wonder on how fresh the food can be. And in order to test it, I ordered 3 entrees: Octopus carpaccio, Sweet peperoncino calamari, Vegetable tart. None of the 3 is worth returning to the restaurant: the carpaccio had no taste and the olive oil used was not of the best quality; the calamari were rubbery, and the vegetable tart (spinach and mushroom on top of mashed potatoes) wasforgettable.
My companion had a much better experience with the Sea bass, which she stated to be very good.
The pannacotta was the worst of the island, so to forget also.
A bottle of good Greek wine helped us in digesting the bill, at 87 euro. I left 10 euro tip because the waiter was, without any doubt, good and nice.
