Dino Art Cafe is set back slightly from the main street in Limassol-a quiet backwater. The menu is fascinating and unusual, and staff very pleasant and helpful. We chose it as it is Top Choice in the Lonely Planet Guide. There are so many tempting items on the menu that is difficult to choose, and with prices for main dishes from 8-15 euros it is reasonably priced. Try to get there early as Limassol is a cruise liner stop with many "follow the flag" tour groups. These groups tend to saturate the restaurants from 13.00hrs. The range of foods from duck with orange to sushi and huge salads, plus many pasta dishes make this a very good choice. My wife had the smoked salmon ravioli with cream, and I had the seafood platter (superbly presented with tiger prawns, smoked mackeral, seafood mousse, octopus, squid +++and a delicious balsamic sauce +salad + breadsticks). Fortunately we arrived early and service was excellent, but just as we were finishing a huge group arrived filling most of the cafe.

we went there with some friends, out of suggestion of a friend, for a friend.
i was suprised with the cosyness, and the food quality that we had (pasta especially was great), i really enjoyed it. We went back for more 2-3 times.
its worth to visit it even once for the experience.

however, one event thows it out of the perfection for us, and we never went again (and probably will take us a while till we do): it was a long time ago, when we went cycling in limasol. We thought that we should stop and have something to eat there, and we did. We asked for a table althought we know that reserving is an must, and we eventually were told that there is no free table. So we turned around to go to another place.
And as we were discussing about where to go still standing in front of the lady that told us there is no table, a couple comes up behind us asking for a table, and even though they said they had no reservation, they were immediately given one!!!

so you get a YUK for service...

man we really liked that place, but till we get over it, im really sorry...
i know Dinos had nothing to do with this (and it was so long ago probably the lady is not there any more), and probably didnt know about it, but its the sum of all its parts...

but when we do get over it, were coming back...

As the title implies, I am definitely a pizza and burgers kinda guy, but i was dragged to dino's once by a friend because 'they make great salads'. Underwhelmed with the decision, I went expecting very little. The place itself is quaint, quite small and doesnt rank highly in ambience (we sat inside for lunch). That being said, sitting outside at night (which is next to impossible without a reservation), is fantastic. In the heart of the old town, literally with tables on the sidewalk. great option for a date.
Anyway, the menu is extensive, with more combinations of salad than I have seen before, and it has something to cater to everyone. I ordered a 'meat lovers' salad (i dont know the real name, i cant remember), but it was covered in prosciutto and mortadella and other italian meats. DELICIOUS! A good size as well. I dont remember it being particularly cheap or expensive, but i know i left feeling i got good value for my money. Overall, for a quick, light lunch, or a nice romantic date, dino's is definitely on my recommend list. If you're in the old town, this is a great choice.
