Normally when you go for “meze” at a taverna in Cyprus, you are in for anything from 20 to 35 different dishes. “Different” being the out of order word because the dishes are not so different at the end. All tavernas have the same assortment, presented probably slightly different. Koutsonikolias has 8-10 dishes they are authentic local food and they are different, dishes you cannot find elsewhere. Most important though, they are all yummy! Service is excellent, it’s run by the family, prices are fair, and the location at least is out of the ordinary.
