With a late afternoon flight from Larnaca airport back to the UK, it made sense to head for Larnaca harbour and find somewhere for a long and leisurely lunch. The Dionyssos Fish Tavern caught our eye because of its attractive location by the sea. And what a splendid lunch it was! We wanted something substantial and were not disappointed. I had swordfish as my main dish: two enormous steaks. Two of the others raved over their grilled king prawns. Another was greatly taken with his octopus (well, it takes all sorts!). And my wife was in seventh heaven with a plate of small red mullet. It was all accompanied by an excellent salad and side dishes, washed down with a great deal of the excellent house dry white wine. The service was friendly and welcoming and the whole experience made a perfect end to our stay in Cyprus. Thoroughly recommended.
