Visited Larnaka for the first time, near our hotel there was a bar/restaurant but we weren't sure if it was a club, pub or restaurant so we gave it a try to have a drink one day. Loved the decoration and met the owner who was a great host so came back following day for dinner. At last, after 5 days of typical touristic food, we had the chance to try real food from Cyprus. I ordered the lamb and it melted in the mouth, and the meatballs my girlfriend ordered were also very good. If we go back with no doubt we'll b back at the art caf .

What a creative place! Full of interesting art, photography and curios. You could be mistaken for thinking you'd been transported to Montmartre in Paris! Very chic but rustic at the same time. Certainly a very unique place in the middle of Larnaca!

We were warmly greeted in the bar and then directed upstairs to the restaurant. There waiting for us was a wonderful waitress with a big smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu consisted of traditional home-cooked Cypriot dishes starting with traditional meze followed by a selection of excellent main courses including vegetarian options. They have a large selection of beers and wines available too! The evening ended perfectly with a liqueur on the house.

This quirky little place is perfect whether you're in the mood for a drink (it has a wide selection of beers and wines) or a tasty homemade meal! The atmosphere is wonderful as well, the music is great and the staff are always helpful and friendly!

The Art Cafe was pulled down in Pervolia and is now a youngsters music type bar.
They have moved to by the Lighthouse at Faros Beach area and are now called Dinato. They serve wonderful food and the position is second to none. Saturday evenings is the time for an act on which is usually a Cypriot musician or singer and so booking in the busy months is essential.
Not the cheapest but worth every penny.

This place is the perfect spot for a solo traveler! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, in fact, I left with new friends. The ambiance is fun and original - lots to explore and look at. There's many locals/regulars attesting to the quality of this place. It almost feels like dining in an eccentric friend's home! There are stories to discover in all the art pieces everywhere.

I had the stuffed cabbage and veggies. Serving was ample and delicious. Chocolate cake and Cypriot red wine added that much more to the meal. Great beer list and fun bar downstairs. Highly recommended to all.
