We booked this accomodation for New Years Eve as a recommendation of a booking agency and were meant to get the renovated room for 5 nights.
Surprise!! we did get a room that was unbelievable with no minimum living conditions...
1.The smell was odd, old and moldy.

2. The furniture, beddings, sheets, curtains and everything there were old, scratched and extremely dusty.

3. The carped was very dirty and under very poor condition.

4. The Tv wasn’t working, not even after the visit of the “technician”- it was a satellite connection, not a cable provider, which wasn’t working at all.

5. There was water constantly licking from the toilet, so you had to walk in there with boots…

6. The towels provided were all ripped and in very bad condition.

7. After few uses of the bathroom the light stopped working.

8. It was extremely cold in the whole apartment, there was no heating available, only the AC, which was very dusty as well and did not dare to turn it on, as we didn’t want to get ill because of the lack of cleaning.

the aspect that pissed me off more was the attitude of the staff and management...when I complained I was told very grumpy, arrogand and rude by the blonde Polish receptionist that the agency didn't book the renovated flat and if we wanted to get one we have to pay extra- which was not a problem- but there was no availability for the night and needed to be checked for the following night and to go back to the agency...which we eventualy did as we couldn't spend the end of the year in such a disgrace...
However that night the hotel had availability but refused to upgrade us as they wanted to wait for the next day guests to arrive and if there was any cancellation only then we will be moved..which to me seemed a total lack of respect and we should have complained to the local authorities but we just wanted to leave from there as it was that cold during the night that I got ill and I had to walk half of Larnaca on New Years Eve to find an opened pharmacy to buy pills...
we eventually moved to another place, and when we left the key,we were told by the manager that he didn't know about our situation-which was a lie, he did know as he was contacted during the evening-they had availability for the renovated apartment and was willing to move us..REALLY?! and they also refused to refund the agency for the 4 nights that we payed for but didn't stay...

The location of the apartments is very good. Small walk to the beach and in the heart of the shopping center. The area is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, especially a lady with long blonde hair (sorry i forgot the name) Tip: for your breakfast, the kitchen is well equipped. You can buy your stuff from Lidl, 10 minutes by car.

This was our first time in Cyprus and The Blazer Residence was recommended to us. We went here end of September. It was a very good choice.

Blazer Residence has been refurbished to a very high standard and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in.

Our room was ready, the room itself was good, clean good, air con, free wifi, fridge, hair dryer, microwave, tv, nice balcony not the best view but that wasn't a problem. The hotel itself was excellent, very helpful lovely staff couldn't do enough for you. All the staff did a great job and were always happy to do their very best to help as much as possible. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Greate location in Larnaca, close to the beach and the city centre.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and area as a lovely place to relax and soak up the sun.
Very helpful staff and felt so welcomed.
Thank you Blazer Residence!
