Just returned from a ten night stay at this hotel on a B & B basis. Couldn't be more complimentary. The hotel is ideally placed about ten minutes pleasant walk to the harbour and very close to a couple of very good eating places with lots more in walking or easy taxi distance. Most we ever paid for a taxi was 12TL(£4)
Arrived late in the evening but booking in no problem and easy transfer to big, clean. comfortable room. Bathroom more than adequate, clean fresh towels every day. Only minor comment twin beds were quite hard but not uncomfortable. Good A/c in very hot weather, with small balcony. We had not paid for a sea view upgrade so room was at end of building overlooking road and car park but no problem. Breakfast was early till very late and even later at the weekend. It is a buffet style breakfast with juice, tea and coffee served. I can honestly say i havn't been anywhere with as good a selection to choose from, honeycomb, clotted cream, turkish delight, etc. etc. There were cereals, fruit, nuts, etc the usual meats and cheeses, toms, etc, pancakes, a chef producing eggs any way you could think of with lots of choice of emelishments, including bacon, lol. all sorts of different breads and pastries, i could go on and on.
The pool area is lovely with a connected decking area which abutts their private area of the sea with ladders down into the sea which is constantly at a depth of about 8-10 feet and crystal clear with small fish and an inflatable boom about 25 yards out keeping the worst of the swell out of the swimming area. There is a swim up bar with also a dining area for drinks and lunchtime snacks under the largest umbrella i have seen lol. As soon as you walked into the pool area which is accessed across a small road or via a tunnel direct from the hotel, there was invariably a member of the pool staff who couldn't have been more pleasant who got you two towels each, guided you to a suitable sun bed in the sun or otherwise and laid out your towels for you. there were bar staff patroling on a regular basis for the ordering and delivery of drinks etc.
I had an ear infection whilst there and the reception staff, who were allways helpful and cheerful, immediatley contacted the local private hospital to see if they had an ear specialist available, which they had, and then contacted a taxi to take us straight there. The next day on walking through reception the lady who had helped me enquired as to how i was which thought was lovely. There is a large lobby area to the hotel which has an allmost 24hour bar/coffee/beautiful cake counter. They also do afternoon tea between 4 and 6 with live music of some sort playing(harpist/guitarist).
We generally ate out in the evenings but did try the buffet meal one evening. It is 45TL (about£15) each and is almost as large as the breakfast selection. Soup, hors derves, a selection of main courses ans deserts. it was very good value and more than adequate but as with most buffets things wern't always hot and some a little overcooked. We also tried the Dragon chinese restaurant which is a separate entity though part of the hotel. This once again was good but appreciable more expensive than most of the places we found. We didnt try the spa so couldnt comment on that but if the rest is anything to go by i'm sure it would be good. we did go into the Casino, just to have a look and watch the gamblers, and this once again is probably the nicest in the town, beautifully furnished etc but didnt have the pleasure of getting any of my money, lol.

We really couldn't have been more pleased with our choice and if we go back to Nth Cyprus would definately stay here again

Room Tip: I think most rooms are identical layout wise but obviously sea view would be nice.

The best place to stay in Kyrenia by far. Location is superb with a great sea frontage created from decking with a large pool and bar. Perfect location in the town with the quaintest harbour 5 minutes walk away in which there is at least 15 different restaurants and bars. Explore the back lanes for even more to see & do but regardless of what you come for the Rocks is the place to stay

Loved this hotel, only stayed three days. Great Breakfast, good rooms, lovely staff. Can't wait to return. Will definitely staff longer next time. Local restaurants are so good. only went to two, next time I will try my best to get around the rest. The man who looks after the pool area was very helpful as were all the staff. will also try afternoon tea in the hotel which looked amazing, the cakes yummy.

Room Tip: stayed in sea view room overlooking disco.. No problem with noise. Slept like a baby!
