All the staff without question are very friendly, even the gardeners and cleaning staff spoke and wished you a Good Morning .... Special thanks to Hamza at the pool bar who is incredibly welcoming and friendly ...

The hotel in general I feel is a little bit tired and would benefit from a measure of refurbishment .... That said it does seem to attract an elder patron, the same people year after year from what I understand.

We didn't eat there so cant really comment on the food apart from the breakfast which was wide ranging and plentiful.

Our room was comfortable to a degree with very good bathroom facilities, a hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities but no hangers to put creased clothing!!. Our room, at the far end of the hotel, overlooked a building site but had great views of the mountains, ok but not ideal if you are a sensitive sleeper as the road was usually fairly busy ...

The pool area, although delightful in its setting was an absolute nightmare trying to secure a sunbed because they were all 'RESERVED' by the residents even before 07.00 in the morning, what a pity we couldn't get to enjoy it as much as some!!.

Family stayed here, but we visited numerous times during our stay (we had a villa) for the food. Lunchtime chicken kofta kebab!!! Pizza!!
Dinner in the main restaurant steak was beautiful, service great, staff very friendly and accommodating, even playing thumb wars with my son! Can’t wait to go back next year!

We have just returned from a week here, August 28th till September 4th. We booked through Cyprus paradise and flew with Thomas Cook into Larnaca. The transfers were excellent and we highly recommend Cyprus Paradise.
We requested a garden room and were given room 316 which had a wonderful view of St. Hilarion castle which is lit up at night. The team of Filipino cleaners do a wonderful job, perhaps the best we have encountered in any hotel.
The beds( 2 single which we pushed together!)were comfortable, efficient air conditioning and good light in the bathroom.
It's very easy to catch the Dolmus in either direction.
Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit and salad ( tomatoes, cucumber and olives with the most delicious local olive oil)
The food at the Saturday night BBQ was excellent with good mezes and a selection of meats. The Tuesday disco night was even better. Both the Kleftico( very tender ) and freshly cooked sea bream were wonderful.
Our only requests for our next visit would be Turkish tea and coffee at breakfast. Who wants instant coffee and typhoo tea on holiday!

Room tip: Garden room

Lovely setting, very comfortable accommodation. Food exceptional, the and bar/waiting staff a credit to any hotel.

However to be told by letter 2 days in advance that on 1st September the restaurant would be closed for 24 hours, there would be no bar service during this time and nor would the pool be available to guests is NOT acceptable
A family wedding was to take place and paying guests were offered a free drink during our stay(how kind). This extravagant affair was for 400 close family and friends and we were merely onlookers while we left our accommodation to drink and dine elsewhere.
Consideration for guests?

This hotel is a tired 3 star hotel in need of refurbishment. Staff especially in pool bar are excellent. Food was very good. Pool is too deep and does not comply with EU safety standards. Location is close to port and local restaurants.
