We stayed here as part of a walking holiday package for a week, so the fact that the hotel is not central to Kyrenia was not a problem and we were happy to walk the distance.

The staff on welcoming us - were lovely. The restaurant manager in particular is very pleasant.

Our room was a double, overlooking the pool and got the evening sun. The temperature when we got there was a tad on the cool side - it was quite late into the evening but the heating system is very easy to use and warmed us up well. The duvet was also in the wardrobe and easy enough to add to the bed. We had requested a double bed and as is more and more common was two singles zipped together. It was extremely comfortable and we both slept well every night.

As we were on a package - we had the set menu - a choice of two starters, 3 mains and the desert trolley. There was always a vegetarian starter and main available. To be honest the food was essentially to please the market it was aimed it, and it did. It is not cordon bleu, in fairness we did not eat off the main menu and this could well have been fantastic. Do try the lemon rice pudding - it is a Turkish dish and is lovely. I think I had it 4 of 7 nights!! Breakfast is not bad - their white fresh bread is lovely, the honey and jam would appear to be home made and are gorgeous. There were other British and European options available and they will do poached eggs and omelettes on request.

The outdoor pool had not warmed up yet when we arrived, but there is an indoor one, the gym is poor!

You do have to buy bottled water to drink and clean your teeth - but the hotel did supply this and you had a charge card to your room, so you did not need to carry cash around - you could settle up at the end of your stay - that system worked very well.

Take ear plugs - there is a cockerel or 2 in the area - who cannot tell the time! Some people did not hear him - some of us heard him occasionally - but at 3 am - I could have strangled him!

If I was staying in the area again - yes I would use the hotel, without question.

Room Tip: Mountain views appear to have the sun most of the day, pool side evenings! Probably in the heat of...

Just returned from a week here, nice hotel although the bar area is a bit drab. Location is ok if you like to walk (about 35-40 mins to kyrenia centre) or don't mind using the dolmus(about 10 mins).Only ate here once and it was fine, 35tl for a 3 course set menu, breakfast was ok, usual selection of hot and cold.Only had 1 night of entertainment during the week at the hotel so if you want somewhere lively you have to venture into town.Rooms were quite spacious and daily maid service was good. All the staff were friendly and helpful.Indoor pool/Jacuzzi was too cold for comfortable swimming. Probably best suited for the slightly older generation.

We arrived in southern Cyprus on 29th August 2012 after a a 12 hour delay to be greeted by a helpfull smilling driver ready to take us to the ship inn even though he had also been waiting all day for us.
When we arrived we were well recieved and they even opened the bar so we could get a night cap.
The villa was very clean and well maintained.
We were booked in for breakfast and villa and although the breakfast was some what repetative after a while it did the job.
The staff were very helpfull and curtious even though a couple of them were just learning the ropes.
We booked two hire cars for three days and when one of them obtained a fault they changed it immediatly.
Plenty of places to eat out but not a place for young children unless you want to keep them entertained all day and night.
it was a wonderfull holiday and we are going back next year.

We have just returned from a three week stay from 21/1/13. The hotel is good and very well kept, the staff are helpful and polite. Although aged everything is kept well and clean, kitchen is spotless and the food is adequate and fresh. We were on half board throughout and do not regret this decision. Eating out would have been more expensive and hit and miss, whereas the hotel was consistent and always good but modest in quantity of main coarse. I was really impressed by the speed of response when there were small issues with the room, anything mentioned was resolved immediately. Our only suggestions would be:
1. Have a three week menu.
2. Sort out the TV in the rooms, no reliable signal throughout three weeks.

All considered this is a good hotel well kept and we would return.

The staff were very good friendly and helpfull
We were on half board and the food for what we paid was fine, basic but ok
The weather was kind to us and the sun shone brightly we swam in the indoor pool which was warm enough and we enjoyed our swim
We hired a car for some days out and had lunch outside in the sun
So all in all we had a good holiday in the ship hotel we could walk into town which we did several times

We spent two nights here and found it to be very good indeed. They have many facillities including indoor pool, gym and sauna.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Will certainly stay here again
