The Stone Castle is a new restaurant, opening in Summer 2013, and it has had some teething problems. However, you are now guaranteed a warm, friendly welcome, a stunning setting overlooking the sea, and food that is well-prepared, although not gourmet standard. The prices compare favourably with other similar restaurants, where you pay for a starter if you want one instead of getting meze free. My only criticism is of the menu, which is presented in a sumptuous leather cover and is very extensive, except that only the items that are priced are actually available. The sumptuous presentation increases expectations too much, and it would be better to have a more modest format which at least doesn't disappoint customers.
It's a slightly quirky restaurant, but do give it a try - the setting alone is worth it. There's also a bar area for those who want only drinks.
