“Still the best around”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

Just back from another stint in North Cyprus. As we were there for 5 weeks we visited many restaurants. Still not found anything that matched the ambience, service and food that is the MSH experience. Tried the Sunday lunch this time too (as well as a few evenings) and at TL35 for three courses it was fantastic value not to mention the excellent taste. Seems that with Erdin back on the stove and directing in the kitchen we get fine dining at its best and at a reasonable cost . Keep up the good work Erdin and Angela and team and we will see you again in September when we next visit.

“Gorgeous setting & divine food”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Such a beautiful setting with the smell of jasmine in the air as you settle in the garden for an aperitif and canapes. Owner Angela greeted us and took our orders then we were lead through to the pool terrace once our table was ready. The food was absolutely wonderful and the palate-cleansing sorbet is a lovely touch. You have to try the chocolate fondant for dessert! The hand made chocolate truffles that accompany your coffee or tea (I chose a fresh mint tea - divine!) are heavenly. Slightly dearer than most restaurants in Kyrenia but worth every penny, and a darn sight cheaper than the equivalent meal in the UK. Definitely worth a visit for a special night while in Kyrenia.

“Fantastic setting,food and people!”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

we found about Midsummer via Tripadvisor and completely fell in love with the place once we went there. The setting is so peaceful ,the garden is very well designed and the food they serve is just perfect. We went for the fillet steak two times we werethere and both been good experiences.Their wine list is really varied so I guess everyone can find something that match their taste. Thanks to Ozgur bey and his pretty wife for such a good place, their hospitality and great food!

“A mediocre midsummer night........”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

We were a group of 4 who after reading all the glowing reviews made our way up the hill following all the signs to a very impressive villa. It was a lovely setting by the pool with only 4 other diners.it was our most expensive meal of the holiday at £34pp and although nice we wouldn't call it fine dining but the setting is. It was ordinary, british style cooking, well presented but a little dated. The hostess was friendly and welcoming.

“Oasis in a Culinary Wilderness”

This is the nearest to fine dining we could find in the Kyrenia area and what a joy! Beautiful setting, attentive service and excellent food - canapes, sorbet to cleanse the palate and home-made chocolates to finish. Not particularly easy to find and you need your own wheels to get there as it's quite a way out of town but well worth the effort. Only sorry that we discovered it so late in our stay. We would highly recommend and if we go back to Kyrenia this will be our first stop to eat.
