We went to Green Valley during the summer, so we sad at the outside portion of it. It's hot during that period in Cyprus and thus this environment was ideal for us to cool off. The restaurant its located in a mesmerizing lush area of Cyprus with a little river passing next to the outside sitting place. Surrounded by nature and with a personable warm service we enjoyed an excellent meal.
I had souvla (a traditional Cypriot dish featuring large chunks of meat on a long skewer - I had pork - barbecued on charcoal ). My friend had lamb ribs. We also had a couple of side dishes including tzatziki (yogurt with cucumber dices, garlic and olive oil), some pickle stuff (great appetizers!) and of course greek salad. The food was absolutely great and we are definitely going back the next time we are around.
Bottom line is an ideal place for good Cypriot traditional food, in a cosy children-friendly atmosphere (hey they have little ducks by the river!) surrounded by nature. If you want a traditional experience, this is the place!
