“Do not buy the city pass”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

Just don't even go in the info center, everything you need is within a block's walk of the city info place. There is a city pass that is offered by the info office. It has about 12-15 things that it advertises as free. This is completely FALSE. We tried 6 of these things and 5 charged us incorrectly or didn't honor the city pass.

Do not buy it, it is a waste of money. We went back to the info place and chatted with the women that sold the passes to my family. She didn't believe us at first that we has all the issues. She then called 2 or 3 of the places and was 'shocked' to find out that we were telling the truth. She called her boss and asked if we could get a refund, that was denied. We were offered a religious book about Liechtenstein instead of a refund...disappointment.

“Not tourist friendly, small uninteresting town, no parking.”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

A small uninteresting town, which is only worth seeing if you want to see how tiny this country is. City center has no parking, or very difficult to find. No real centre to walk around in. Decided to drive up the hill behind the city to see the view, which was very nice. Otherwise, this city just isn't worth seeing.

“Small but cozy”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

The center is not that large but very convenience for the pedestrian. Lot of restaurant and souvenir shops. And the best part is the stamps alongside the walk path. Awesome!

“Would you ever stop there it it wasn't a separate country but just another small Swiss town?”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Visited Vaduz on a way from Como to Munich. Great disappointment. The museums were closed by the time we arrived and the center has absolutely nothing to see except for a couple of souvenir shops and strange sculptures.
Yes, there are some municipal buildings, a church and a view of the castle from distance. It was not even worth it to park the car. With the amount of money this place seems to have based in the prices they could have built a much nicer town center. The only positive thing is that this adds another country to my travel map, but, clearly, not the prettiest one

“So helpful - set your GPS for their parking garage!”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

If driving into Vaduz, don't forget to purchase a Swiss vignette for the roads before entering the country. It gets you waved past the checkpoint without a fuss. Also, set your GPS for 'parking garage, tourist center'... This is the underground garage (no hot car!) immediately next to the Kunstmuseum right in the walking area.

Make your first stop the Liechtenstein Center. You can get a map, a stamp for the country, and all the info you need! Wonderful, helpful staff and an amazing compilation of information about the country.
