“Mixed meat and tapas”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

We visited this nice restaurant three times i january 2014. First time we had seafood, see my review from that visit. The second time we had a plate of mixed meat which was very good and the third time we had tapas. The fried calamare rings is the best I have ever eaten.

Each visit the food was very good and I can give my best recommendations to this restaurant.

The young waitress gave us very good service. Now we are looking forward to next january when we return to Tenerife for our holiday and having good food at this restaurant.

“Thank Goodness we checked on Trip advisor!”

Desperate to eat something really nice and different from all the other larger restaurants we "found" Michelle and La Provence.

This review is not blurred by the glow of aftersun or alcohol it is just honest-truly it was such a relief to find somewhere original.

If you are starving and you want a quick fix this is not for you-however if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing meal with Michelle as an interesting host look no further.

The average price for a 3 course a la carte meal with wine or Cava -for 2 was £50 euros. Clearly this could be reduced if so desired.

My favourite was the porcini risotto which was to die for !!

As a previous report stated this is a little gem and I would agree-the best way to find this restaurant is to stand outside Contre Filet and it is directly opposite- we searched for ages before finding it but were glad we persevered........Booking advised as only a small number of tables.

A very good meal. Can be recommended. The hostess/owner gave us fantastic service. The meal included a bottle of good wine. We will go there again in few days. Very good value for money!

The restaurant is not placed correctly on the map. It is located on the parallell street to Centro Commercial de Fañabe

“Fantastic little gem amongst many other uninspiring choices”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

We were enticed in by a lovely guy from Solvakia with the offer an a free bottle of wine and free wi-fi. we had a delicious fish platter. The meal and hospitality was so brilliant we decided to return the next night! (Extremely tempted to go back for a third time but decided to try elsewhere which we later regretted!) The food is of high quality but may be don't go here if you are in a rush - the food is cooked freshly, probably why it is so delicious! Very friendly waitress from Uruguay (sorry forgotten her name) but she was very attentive and good fun. drinks also reasonably priced, on average I was paying approx 6-8€ on the coast for a vodka & lemonade but here it was only 4€! Daily specials on offer.
