still the best breakfast on the island, cakes to die for! sad to see timeshare reps in there doing sales. we go every year for the past 20 years. Missed Stephens service and humour, hope he enjoys his retirement.

We had a great lunch here. The food was all home made and the desserts and cakes are to die for. We will definatly be going back there again very soon.

Good food served at the pantry, only thing that lets them down is they use long life milk in your tea/coffee

This was our first time at The Pantry. We had passed it one day whilst out walking and it was very busy so thought we would give it a try, and I'm glad we did.

A review elsewhere suggests the staff were not friendly, which we didn't find. If anything they were over friendly, we couldn't shut our waitress up! She was chatty and friendly so no issues there at all.

The menu for sandwiches, breakfasts, tea and cake etc was pretty good with plenty of choice. The breakfast I had was very nice (although they're not hard to get right!) and was hot and had enough on the plate, not too much. The chicken mayo sandwich had plenty of filling and both meals were reasonably priced. My girlfriend had a scone too and although it was nice (served warm) the cream served with it was pretty tasteless and seemed to be dissolving in the open air. it wasnt bad, but certainly not great. The other cakes on offer did look very, very nice, as did their pies, pastys and rolls.

We would certainly recommend it for reasonably priced sandwiches and snacks, although dont expect any scenic views as it is located between a shopping precinct and a hotel.

Shame because the food is really good but I think both the service and the staff are not that good. We generally got take out at lunch as the sandwiches are lovely, as are the pies. My favourite was the spicy Jamaican pasty.
