Fu Lu Shou Inn is a recent find. It's down Strasbourg Street, 10 minutes walk from the main railway station. It was the most delightful surprise, one that's bound to make you smile (unless you are too uptight). It really looks like a Chinese Disneyland inside, with its blinking lights and faux antiques. Plus a lovely pond full of fat goldfish, several altar corners, displays of jade figurines, and a central *round doorway*. And actually, it works! It may be kitchy but it's cool! The food is good too ... ask for duck in any form. Everything is fresh and delicious. There's supposed to be Thai and Vietnamese food too but actually, it's a Chinese interpretation of those dishes, so I recommend not to bother. Just stick to the Chinese. In the end there was a *digestif* on the house, rice vodka in very naughty shot glasses ;) Warmly recommended! The food was really great, it was clean and authentic in a way. A cheerful place!
