A lovely stretch with views that you could look at for years. It's the old walls of the city and you can certainly smell the history as you stroll down the roads taking in the scenic views. Certainly worth a visit when in Luxembourg. Not hard to find, you can't miss it.

Once you are walking Luxembourg city you will get to this point also - either starting from St. Esprit either from the Bock Casemates. What is it all about - here it is :
- today is a promenade - 300 years ago it was the ramparts of the city and part of the fortifications that were protecting Luxembourg.
- is a few Km long , you can walk it without issue - the slope is not very steep - even when you come from St. Esprit is alright you don't need any particular physical fitness to do it. Wear comfortable shoes - but this is valid for any tour that you make on foot regardless the city you are in.
- visiting is free - so entrance fee.
- the view from above, with the Alzette , Grund and Neumunster below is just great. A lot of nice pics can be taken here.
- for those into history for sure has a more significant meaning strolling through the former ramparts of the city - I can even recommend a guided tour so you get the most of it.
If you will find also references to this promenade of today as being labeled "Europe's most beautiful Balcony" well I'm not sure if that's the case nonetheless rearly I saw more beautiful views then from this "Balcony".
If you are in Luxembourg put it on your list it is worth it!

While in Luxembourg, I checked out this place and it was worth it. There are many old and historical buildings which I found very interesting.
