Went here on recommendation of work colleague. Frist few minutes I thought it was a mistake. We were seated in an empty dimly lit white washed cellar and given a menu that didn't show the steak we had been told was the main reason for our visit. We could hear that the next room/alcove was very lively and obviously full of people enjoying themselves. When the waiter returned we asked about the steaks and he said he'd check. Thankfully he came back and said yes we could have filet or entrecote. We ordered one of each and neither of us were disappointed! Best steak I've had in a long time, cooked to perfection and served with simple salad (already dressed) and jacket potato. The wine list is impressive and even though our budget didn't stretch to some of the wonderful wines they stocked we thoroughly enjoyed our choice from the lower price end of the wine list. Definitely worth a visit - just hope you get seated in the main bar, as it seemed thats where all the fun was.
