The name of the restaurant is not appealing to us, at least not to us Dutch folk. However the food is a real delight, every dish we had was very rich in flavor and tasted great. The spring vegetables (as a starter), truly magnificent! The Gurnarol (frogfish) and the duck were very good too. Prices are high compared to most restaurants in Valletta, but considering the really superb taste of the food it really is well worth the price.
The restaurant opens it's doors for diner at 19:30, which is late considering most of the shops in the city close about an hour before that. As dudley96 pointed out, we too felt the chairs were too low for the tables. The "wine cellar type" of room felt cosy to us. The waiter could loosen up just a bit without losing his professionalism.
In contrast to our motto when on holidays being: vacations are too short to visit the same restaurant twice, we'll probably visit this restaurant again.
