You get just enough history but with "a little bit of sugar"so the kids will love it. 5D is shaking chairs etc.

If you come to Malta you MUST see the 5D experience. It took us 7 days to decide, and while we re-visited Valletta four times during our week-long stay in Malta, it was on our last day and final 3 hours before our flight that we took the number 22 bus from our B&B in Sliema to have the best coffee and fruit tart at Cafe Cordina, followed by the 5D experience. Our chairs moved as we flew over Malta, we were speared by the swords of the Knights and flew high above the fleet of naval ships during the invasion of World War II. From the first inhabitants 7,000 years ago (yes, 7,000 years) throughout history, the Turks whose fleet of ships came to invade Malta, only to be defeated by Captain Vallett and his Knights, and then the city named after Him..., followed by many other countries who came to fight for posession of Malta's fortresses, lifestyle and wealth, only to be defeated once again, the 5D film shows how Malta, over the centuries has survived countless enemies and been bombarded by spears, arrows, cannon balls and missiles, only to withstand the batterings and show why Malta is a virtual impenetrtable fortress like no other.
So, take the 25 minutes to see the 5D experience, it's quite spectacular, brilliantly narrated and filmed, with amazing 3D digital effects, snakes at your ankles, wind in your hair, salt spray in your face and a thrill ride from above as you fly high with the Maltese Falcon.
It took us long enough to see it, make sure you do to.
I know I went overboard with my explanation, and we did get to see it for 5 euros instead of the normal 9 euros, but it was just sensational.

PS, did you know there are more maltese people in Australia than the whole of Malta!

This is a bit pricey for a 20 minute show , as an adult I'd like if to have been a bit more indepth but if you're bringing kids it's brilliant . It really is a great experience and loads of fun , families should certainly give it a go , it's great for the big kid in all of us. !

You might think that the price is a little steep for what is essentially a short show, but I really did feel like I got my money's worth from this one. Really original, informative, and entertaining. Staff are also very courteous and helpful.
