The State Rooms needed better guidance but the armoury held a truly amazing collection of armour and weapons, with a good audio guide.

There was a dearth of explanatory literature at the site about the history of the Palace, the contents of the rooms and the layout of the Palace. We also felt that far too much was roped off - we could have been allowed much further into some of the rooms without coming into contact with or compromsing the safety of furniture ,paintings etc.

It's really nice to visit and have a glimpse of the city's rich past.. For the money that they ask it's quite expensive and very few areas are open to the public... The cashiers were rude and didn't have change.... Nice little garden outside...

The visit is very difficult to follow unless you take the audio guide, but its very expensive and we were glad we had a guide book.

We found that we knew no more about the history of malta after we came out, and if we didnt have a malta pass, would have felt very cheated if we had paid the fill price!

Very surprised that so little effort is put into presenting what is supposed to be the star attraction.
