The visit worth the (relative) high price of the entry. Perfectly conserved strategic rooms and souvenirs from the Knights and British period. The Armoury museum is the richest of its kind I ever visited.

The palace and the armoury are worth a visit. The staterooms are magnificent. The building is still in use by the parliament and president so sometimes visits can be cut short. A fascinating place to stop and think of the history of the Knights Malta.

I was present at an official reception here and we were greeted by the President of Malta. Didn't see all the rooms but those that were open to us were absolutely spectacular and well worth seeing as were the fountains outside and the changing of the guard.

We visited Malta in 1978 and found the Grand Master's Palace to be fascinating and educational. One of our favorite trips ever!

The Dining room was closed and one could only go a little way into all the other rooms as they were roped off. It was impossible to see the tapestries and paintings from just inside the door way. A rip off at 10 Euros!
